Stellar-Psyche

Mostly just a reader of fictions. I run a few blogs. One of which is a pony ask blog.

T

Fluttershy is having a nice day at the market, until she sees a cloaked figure.

This was my first fanfiction, I know it's not great, but I wanted to share it anyway.

Fluttershy kills her favourite pet? Absolutely no moral repercussions at all!

I mean, come on.

Like I said. First fanfic. :pinkiecrazy:
It was bound to be shit. :facehoof:

Try making paragraphs more obvious; Separate the talking from the other parts.. try reading/looking at other fanfics to see where other improvements can be made.. Try writing stories before you post anything... Those are my advise to you.. This is way better than MY first fanfic was.. That is my encouragement to you and no I'm not kidding. .My first fanfic sucked...So did my 2'th,3'th ,4'th,5'th, and all the way to me 12'th one before I started to show improvement and there are still things I need to work on!!!! In other words it will not happen overnight but you got promise...

Thank you very much. I know I'm working on one right now. It already feels better because I've taken time to read other fanfics. I wrote this one I think like two or three years ago, before I got into the community. :twilightblush:

One of my favourite rules of writing is just because you wrote it, doesn't mean you have to publish it. I've written countless stories that I've then deleted because I didn't find the subject interesting enough to carry on/I realised I'd decimated any respect for whatever fandom I was writing for through the depressing quality of the work/I couldn't see myself writing more in the future/etc. Seriously, right now, out of (at the very least) 40 stories I've begun to write, I've published three stories of my own (not on this website) and I'm doing a collab, so that's 1 in 10 stories, and most likely less. If you read through it, realise you've made a massive mistake that would change the entire plot, and don't have the time to re-write everything, just scrap it. If you make a mistake that large it actually throws the plot off-course, it probably isn't a decent fanfic anyway. Don't take offense from this; I'm just being brutally honest about it.

That may be your rule, but honestly I feel someones first crapfic should be shared with the world. It's special, it's holy in a way. It's a beacon to moving forward with inspiration. Sure the beacon may be a bit rusted or dim, but that's why you brighten it along the way. Long story short it stays. It got approved, it's special. I gave the warning it may be crappy, and people have chose to read on. Gotta start somewhere and one should be proud of every single step.

VIVA LA CRAPFIC! (I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I needed to... I'm so sorry...)

I'm glad you're emotionally attached to a terrible piece of writing. Personally, I deleted my first fanfic the moment I read through it and thought 'this sucks big time', and I regret nothing.

Also, your profile pic is kinda creepy. Just sayin'.
