1 The Discovery

It all began on a crisp warm autumn day, Rainbow dash was getting ready to do a flyover of the Everfree forest. Rainbow was about to take off when she remembered something that Twilight had told her that morning, ”Remember to keep a look out for lost items, one pony’s trash is another pony’s treasure!”

Sure it was something she would keep in mind, but she wouldn’t just go searching for things, even though it would be totally awesome. But what was mainly in her head was that orange earth pony, her luscious blonde hair, that beautiful rump that she oh so enjoyed. The only flaw in her crush was her accent. Rainbow usually hadn’t mind it in short spurts, but in trying to spend so much time with her crush, she realized how annoying it got.

But She was on a task and she couldn’t think of her (hopefully) future mare friend. She needed to get going or rink the lose of precious time she could spend in the air.

As She took flight Rainbow noticed just how large the forest was. It was so large that the rumors of how large it was didn't even do it justice. It seemed to go on for fifty miles. It seemed almost to large for rainbow if she were to go Fluttershy's speed. But this was Rainbow Dash, the only pony to EVER be awesome enough to pull of a Sonic Rainboom. She knew she was the best, and she was about to prove herself right again, by flying across the forest in record time.

Back at the Apple House, Applejack was kicking her 376 tree, she usually didn't count, but today she was bored out of her mind and needed something to do, so she decided to count. She usually wasn't this bored when Big Mac was here, but he was unusually sick, Mac barely ever gets sick, but when he did. It took a week or two for him to recover. "Ah wish Big Mac was here to help me... That is," Applejack said as she kicked yet another tree, "Three hundred and seventy seven trees Ah have kicked today... I wish Rainbow was here to keep me company." Now Applejack had a few crushes in her time, all of them Colts, but this was different. Every time that Rainbow was around Applejack’s heart did a dance that she just couldn’t put her finger on. It wasn’t hatred, no, she could NEVER hate Rainbow. It was like joy, but different. She couldn’t put her hoof on it, but it was some kind of liking, yeah something like that...

Rainbow took of like a speeding bullet, and within a matter of seconds she was flying just above the tree tops. What was supposed to be a speed challenge quickly turned into an acrobatics show, looping and diving down into the deadly forest. As Rain bow Tucked in for a dive straight down, She noticed something, something that caught her eye. She made a mental note of where it was and slowed down enough so she could fly back to it.

When the Rainbow maned pegasus landed on the ground next to it, she realized what it was. I was one of those genie lamps that you see in the movies. She needed to go show here friends.... But only after she had a bit more fun in the dark and eerie forest that everypony was scared of. So Dash spent the next hour-and-a-half flying around and just enjoyer herself.

After about the three millionth time while she was walking to Twilight’s, she looked at the golden lamp under her wing. When she finally arrived, Rarity was already there.

Eww, Rarity, Rainbow couldn’t put a hoof on it, but she was not particularly fond of the drama queen. A little to afraid to get down and dirty. Now the opposite of this was true for Applejack. How Rainbow felt bout Rarity and Applejack were about as close to polar opposites as ponilly possible.

As she entered the door after being politely greeted by Twilight Rainbow swayed into the room with a little more bounce in her step. As She sat down Twilight broke the silence, “So what brings you here Rainbow?”

“Well,” Rainbow said as she uncovered the lamp, still shining somehow,” I found this while flying today and I wanted to share it with all of my friends, and I figured we could all met here and all see what exactly it is.”

“As much as I would love to see what is in that ‘Lamp’” Rarity said in a sort of mocking voice,” I have things to do, like getting back to our conversation about fashion through the years.” As Rarity finished Rainbow bowed and walked out wishing both of them a good day.

As Applejack walked in for the day she realized she had bucked over 500 trees today, 537 to be exact. She never realized how many tree’s she got though. As She was about to hop into the the shower for a well deserved wash, there was a call from downstairs, it was from Granny Smith, she was yelling something about a visitor. As Applejack turned off the water and walked down to the front door, she pondered who could be at the door, was it Braeburn for another one of his “surprise” visits? No he never had those visits more than once a month. Could it be Mayor Mare, offering her a service award she so desperately deserved? No, She had given that to Fluttershy, for the third year in a row, for helping the animals.

As She reached the door she felt her heart jump for joy as she saw none other than her crush, Rainbow Dash, Applejack couldn’t put a hoof on it, but something about Rainbow made her heart do a dance every time she saw her. “Can ah help you with anythang?” Applejack said, trying to hide her blush.

“Well I found this lamp and I was wondering if you would like to find out more about it with me.” Rainbow said, in sort of a Question form, but yet still in her normal beautiful voice.

“Ah would love ta, can you give me 10 minutes? I just got off from work and I would like to shower before I head into public.” Applejack said, knowing full well that she wish Rainbow were in there with her.

“Ok is it alright if I sit down here and wait for you?” Rainbow said, practically trotting into the room.

“Yeah sure, just give me 10 minutes” Applejack said, and with that she walked off with a little more sway in her hips than she usually did, she hoped Rainbow noticed.

Oh, dear Celestia, I didn’t know AJ’s hips could move like that, Rainbow thought to herself and thought of the two of them. While Applejack was gone, Rainbow replayed the last ten minutes in her head, how Pinkie was busy filling out a order for 3 wedding cakes, a triple wedding. Fluttershy said she had to do something with the animals, Rainbow didn’t really know, as soon as Flutter said “No” Rainbow tuned out. It was a first that nobody was able to open the lamp except her biggest crush in all of Equestria.

She noticed that she was completely alone in the living room of her favorite pony. She had to take an opportunity to savor the moment, she was a throw pillow on a couch and strolled up to it and took in a big whif of what smelt to be a mix of Applecrisp and Apple Cider. Oooooo Cider... Rainbow thought as she drifted into a trance.

AJ washed herself as quickly as possible and immediately jumped out so she could spend as much time as possible with Rainbow. She put her towel in her pile of “Still have to wash”, and headed out her room, closing the door behind her. She hurriedly walked down the stairs in her house and walked into the living room. She could practically smell the wet mane on her neck as she sat down next to Rainbow, who must have been in deep though to startle her that much.

Rainbow was swimming in a huge tub of Cider when all of a sudden everything started to shake. She realized she was dreaming when she woke up, she gazed over at Applejack. She looked so good just out of the shower, he hair was down so that she could show of her awesome locks of hair she owned. Applejack had just sat down next to her then at her lap, Oh yeah, The lamp. Rainbow pondered to herself. As she sat it down in front of the both of them they felt a small magical tingling at their backs. As it Parted a mystical cloud of smoke formed, and out popped a Red and Green Maned Unicorn, He was well built and had obviously was rather buff for a small Unicorn like himself. The Unicorn spoke first, shaking his Gray coat with his Cutie mark swirling even more that it already was swirling in a sort of mystical growth. It’s mystifyng Lure couldn’t keep people away for to long, numerous people were caught looking at hsi cute mark, that he had become used to this stuff.

“I AM Bartholomew, the most powerful genie in all of the land, I am at your service.” Bartholomew said, his voice booming through the house. Your wish is my command. He said bowing.

Welp, That wraps up Chapter one of my first ever story, Hope you all enjoyed, don't expect updates on a regular schedule, the will be spastic, but they will be there.
