The "ponies are artificial lifeforms bit" reminds me of MLP Laboratories but not as dick-shrivelingly nightmarish. Still, the dichotomy that the Sparkles show between their Human mind and equine body is quite interesting.

Also, why would the farmer have bridles? Last time I checked, dairy cows wear halters, not bridles.

All in all, a good if weird story. So do you plan to do stories with the rest of the Mane Six set in this 'verse?

This was really quite interesting. Some followups detailing how the other Harmony models were coping with making their way in the world would be quite interesting.

I know it's part of the conceit of the story, but I still find it quite interesting that Sparkles prefer to herd together, rather than forming Harmonious herds. Perhaps proper one-of-each herds are designed to unlock a bizarre, rainbow-powered superweapon.

The Sparkles are the ones that own the farm. They purchased it and went looking for a farmer to tend to them. If anything, it seems to be that he's THEIR employee. Hell, I'm pretty sure THEY are the ones that wrote the manual he's referencing. I'm guessing the name thing (One, Two, Three etc) is herd mentality.

And like the story mentioned, they teleport. If they didn't want to do it, they could be half way to the next city before anyone would notice. Or they'd turn his balls into chainchomps until he complied.
