And healing magic... bit of an easy, extremely convenient way out of a tight spot when it's implied not to exist in the show, hm? I'll let it slide simply because these complications are not the focus of the fic.
Good story, kind of new to me since usually the stories with humans look at the world from their perspective. But, it's still a good story. hope to read the next chapter soon.

Good character design on the Humans part, everything feels pretty natural, very colorful and unique insults and language. "Step on a lego". I fucking lost my mind.
And did you get the whole "Fuck this and fuck that and fuck you" bit from Trailer Park Boys? Because if so Bravo. If not then what a lovely coincidence!
Only thing I would change is that Cadence is a little too touchy feely and nice to a weird alien creature that seemed incredibly hostile that she JUST met after hearing he headbutted her husband.
Other than that, perfect. Don't change a thing. I will be keeping an eye on this.
