Octavia and her childhood friend Allegro con Brio have grown distant ever since he moved away when they were thirteen. Now, caught in a dream, she must relive a series of scattered memories of him through the helpless eyes of an observer cursed with the gift of hindsight.

Tagging it as a "romance" fic seems a little inaccurate, but fairly close

This is an exceptionally well written piece! I really like your portrayal of Octavia here and I definitely felt a manly tear coming on. VERY nicely done!

Spoiler Warning!

So, I'm assuming that Allegro con Brio was lying to Octavia in the cemetery when he said he had somewhere to go.  But how did he die in a motel room?  It couldn't have been of exposure. :rainbowhuh:

Wow dude, I am sickened that this only has 20 reviews. Thank you for writing this, it was both a pleasure and disturbing to read.

This story has significantly boosted my like for Octavia. I guess with a quiet pony such as her, it can be hard to tell the difference between snobby and sad. I guess I hadn't expected the latter up until now.

Oh man, finaly I get to read this.

Really tragic story... But beautiful the same time. A horrible prize for such a valuable lesson...:fluttershysad:

Great job dude!

Brio, you are a terrible liar. 'Tavi, you are a terrible friend. I hope you both feel ashamed of yourselves. Especially you, 'Tavi. Brio had one friend, just one it would seem, and you just had to smother her to death with apathy.

I really don't see how this has as few votes as it does, it was really good.  At least there aren't any downvotes.
