Everyone agreed that the changeling invasion was the last straw in a series of increasingly miserable, repulsive straws. Dragon migrations, para-sprites and the discord plagues helped things along. Typically the citizens of equestrian stood up, picked up a revolution and dumped it on the royalty.

Under the new regime Ponies find lovers, Luna Republicans throw bombs and everyone wonders why the changelings are sent to camps in the north never to be heard from again.

More importantly (or less if your a hysterically boring person) an alcoholic detective stopped his bad habit of thinking and took in a malnourished changeling child. They hide from internal and domestic security and live like animals, while the child smiles a starving smile.

All the while revolutions do what revolutions do with bits of freedom and bits of dead ponies everywhere.

Features your favorite characters grief and black humor.

Wow, very deep this story is, but i wonder what's going to happen to the princesses now?

I think they'll be fine, if the party wants popular support they can't really touch them. However the princess can't overrule or act against the unity party because then they would be fighting against their own people. The princess could try to regain control as the head of state of the democracy, but most of the guards (their eyes, ears and enforcers) have been killed or taken out of the picture. The elements of harmony can't exactly come in and save the day because the majority of ponies (as well as other creatures) in equestria want the unity party to rule.

Oh, I see, that makes perfect sesne then. Thanks. :pinkiehappy:

I'm little lost in this story

I usually dont like it when authors use some kind of special writing style but this? I love it
(btw is there any connection with The Fall?)

Yes, but I'm kinda embarrassed to say it. I don't know why.

I have to say your writing style is absolutely amazing. Everything is extremely well worded. It reminds me of a more emotional Cormac McCarthy, and more descriptive. I also greatly enjoy the way that you convey your ideas, and those of the characters. They are very vivid, but in a completely new type of vividness. I love this story and am very interested to see where it goes. Gods luck with this and any further endeavors.

damn, I like the cut of this fics jib.

Awesome! I've been so pumped for another chapter!

Alright, I gotta say, but this is a wonderfully haunting story so far, and I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming chapters and the rest of the story. I am also quite fond of your writing style. Its very similar to that of Cormack McCarthy, especially in All the Pretty Horses. In my first read through I didn't see any errors (ie. spelling and/or grammar), and there was definitely nothing wrong with the actual content. Can't wait for the next chapter!
