Sure she was upset, but all she managed to do in protest was get captured, freed by Twilight, captured again, and then freed by Twilight again. She basically stopped Chrysalis by accident after that. In other words, there is no feasible reason to be afraid of Cadence other than she can be thrown like a javelin.
