I meant to put this up last night, but I won't be publishing a chapter this week. I desperately need the time to finish the papers and reports of several classes and to prepare for the exams which begin less than a week from today.

I'll try to have one up next week, as my fourth exam is a ways off after the first three (all back to back). Much of my summer and several hundred dollars ride on me passing one of the courses, while the others I just want to maintain my good marks.

I'm just going to be short here: to make a long story short, there's not going to be a chapter of Collateral this week. I've said I would try to let you know ahead of time, but this rather snuck up on me.

Just a little heads-up. I'm officially putting the Collateral on hiatus. Though it has been a long time since the last update, I've been slowly chipping away at the next chapter and a bit with a little progress. The problem is, it is too disorganized to be effective.

95% of the reason I am putting it on hiatus is because of the university courses I am taking. I am simply too busy too keep writing this story effectively.

Funnily enough, I didn't get as much time off over Christmas break as I would have hoped. The grocery store I worked at needed me for extra shifts. So, between that and time relaxing, I figure I might as well give a status update for all my stories.
