Hi all!

I mentioned in my last blog post that I would be turning my sights onto adapting Feedback into an original setting. Since then, I have been working on that very goal and recently hit the halfway mark of drafting the story. And I've been sharing what I've written on my discord (link below).

The world of the adaptation does bear some immediate similarities with the story you are all familiar with; there are some things that I just can't imagine any other way.

I just wanted to let you know that I made an e-book version of this story available. And by e-book, I mean a pdf that you can download. Fimfiction has a built-in epub thingy but it doesn't look as nice and, more importantly, it loses a lot of the formatting (especially italics, which you readers of Feedback may know is of some significance).

I just realized that in fifteen days' time will be the one year anniversary of when Feedback was completed. It's so strange because it seems like yesterday. These days all blur together.

Anyways, I noticed today that the story has hit another milestone! This one corresponds to ratings.

So... that finale, huh?

It always amazes me how radically different the typical episode is from the two-parters, but this one took that concept and knocked it out of the park. Over the course of this season we've had... Pinkie Pie keeping secrets about babies, Pinkie Pie solving Yaks, Rarity solving Canterlot fashion, brotherly crossdressing, putting on plays with Coco Pommel... also Equestria got utterly annihilated.

So I've seen Friendship Games as of a few days ago. I'm not going to spoil the movie here for anyone that is unfortunate enough to not have watched it yet. I will say though that Sunset Shimmer continues to be, for me at least, the best thing that has ever happened to the franchise. She is really good in this movie just as she was in the last one.

Today's episode. Amending Fences.

First I would like to say that I absolutely adored today's episode. I mean, besides the Starlight Glimmer cameo at dinner and the unfortunate implications of that (likely for the season finale), everything was just so solid. Moondancer especially was one heck of a foil to Twilight. The supporting characters were great too.
