For years, since nearly the start of the series' rise to international fame, the rumors have persisted: Was there an adult-oriented Daring Do story? Has our intrepid explorer gone down paths far more sordid and saucy than her audience could have imagined?
After far too long of a hiatus, Red Shoes is officially back with a new chapter!
This time, we'll be hearing from the co-owner of Sugarcube Corner, who has a saucy but sympathetic tale to tell.

Yikes. I let this sit for way, WAY too long. As I'm typing this I'm realizing it's been 4 years, since this story last updated. That's horrendous, and also entirely my fault. True, lots of life has happened to me, and then there's the world going mad besides. But still, I should NOT have let this story lapse like this. For that, readers, you have my apologies.
BUT, I do bring good news: The Red Shoe Diaries are back!
Progress Update #2
As you might imagine, writing is tougher when you're getting up every few minutes to cough your head off. 
So yeah...lost all of last week and most of this weekend to a nasty sinus infection. One that I've now unfortunately passed onto my wife despite my best efforts, and the poor dear has to get on a plane tomorrow for a business trip. :( We can't seem to catch much of a break lately.
BUT, I do have some good news!
Meant to post this yesterday, but this weekend was more hectic than I had planned. But, poll results are in, so click through the jump for the big reveal!
Last year, I had initial plans to write at least two RSD chapters, and possibly three. Thanks to real life and my own procrastinating, I got a whopping ONE entry done. (that it turned out really well is beside the point, lol) ;)
Still, that was a epic fail on my part, and one I definitely want to rectify this year. But to be honest, I'm nearing the end of the initial 'idea list' I made up when I first started RSD, so I'm going to need to load some new stuff in the hopper.
So, I had grand plans for this calendar year, as far as my writing goes. And especially for Red Shoe Diaries entries. I sketched out three separate chapters early in the year, in fact. Well, suffice it to say, things didn't turn out as productive as I had planned. 
BUT, I do have good news! The Red Shoes mailbox has just received a new letter - and this one happens to bear a postmark from Marecelona. ;)
It's freezing cold just about everywhere right now, but take heart, my friends. Tomorrow's forecast calls for much warmer conditions...

First, let me apologize for my radio silence lately. I've missed two T3 posts in a row now for sure, and just been silent on other media as well. Between work, car maintenance, some needed repairs around the house, other real life stuff, and a level OMGWTF sinus infection, October can be summed up for me thusly:

Somehow, I stumbled onto a burst of writing speed since last weekend, and I was able to crank out the next episode of RSD much faster than normal. and that's a good thing, because I've been itching to finish our little two-part arc with Lyra.
