IT'S DONE! · 2:40pm Apr 10th, 2015

Don't read this blog if you want to finish the story without spoilers.

FINALLY! DONE!

At about 135k words, Cadence In A Minor is finally done. It's been a humongous undertaking and the feeling I got from updating it as "complete" was, well, undescribable. This thing would, in print, be a 450 page novel. I wrote a book. I did it. Whee!

(From the author's note in the Epilogue)

Fic Hype! · 3:24pm Mar 23rd, 2015

Honestly, I don't usually do this, but I decided to make an exception. My longest and most well received fic, Cadance In A Minor, is rapidly closing on the finish. In the last two weeks I've managed to write 17 000 words of the last two chapters. It's been such a long time since I started writing this fic. It's now longer than your average paperback novel at close to 130 000 words. In print, that would be over 400 pages. For example, it's now longer than any novel written by Terry Pratchett.

Good news! I blew up my writer's block. · 1:42pm Jan 15th, 2014

Yeah, the title does not lie. I finally finished Cadence In A Minor chapter 13. I know I'm probably one of the worst people on this site on keeping a writing schedule or releasing chapters even remotely on time. My apologies for that. I never understood how difficult stories become as the get longer and longer. So many loose ends to tie, so many previous events to check for continuity, so much, well, STUFF.
