And then, out of nowhere, Chapter 11 is published! · 9:29pm Jun 28th, 2019
Whoa, I actually got it done. Feels... good.
I hope everyone likes it.

I'm home now, and luckily, I got a lot of work done on chapter 11 while I was in the middle of nowhere with no cell service. I'm gonna do my best to get more work done so that it's not another 3 months before the next update.
I'm currently up in Utah right now with my Grandpa and cousin. On Saturday we depart for Idaho for a bear hunting trip, which will be good for writing, funny enough. Hunting is 50 percent walking, 45 percent sitting totally still, and 5 percent "oh fuck is that an animal".
Work was moving along nicely, it really was. Then... I slowed down a bit and looked back at what I had written, and I did a little rewrite, and then I began to really look at what I had done and... I decided a total rewrite of the 4000 words I had was in order.
I'd try and explain why the hell I needed to start over, but it'd take too long, lol. Anyway, it's going to be a while before I have something to put out. Sorry for the delay.
Also known as Act 2, is coming along swimmingly. It's going to be long, and I've actually gone backwards like 2000 words in the last while because of cuts and rewrites. Just know it's coming soonly, and I'm working my ass off to make it the absolute best it can be!
Also, thanks all for quelling my worries about the future of writing for this site and for all of you. I plan on doing this as long as the site is up, honestly. Again, thanks, and thank you for reading and being patient.
Ooh shit, it's up! I've actually managed to get this thing out in a reasonable time. Hope you all like it!
This one ended up going a lot quicker than I expected, which is nice! Chapter 10 is already underway, and is progressing quickly. I'm back in the groove of writing, so hopefully updates will become more regular!
Wow, felt like this would never happen. I don't really have much to say other than enjoy the chapter!
pls comment too
I now realize it has been a whole 2 months since I published a chapter of 'Life In Boxes', and for that, I apologize. Not only have I been in a horrible state of writer's block for the last month, but I lost my job three weeks ago, and I'll be moving back to Phoenix as a result. These combine to form a perfect storm of not being able to write jack shit. I've actually gone backwards in progress; a week ago I had about 2,000 words of chapter 8 written, but now I've got 300 because I didn't really
read up, bitches
Also, if you've been holding off reading and waiting for things to ramp up, now's a good time to begin.

Nothing more to say, other than chapter 7 is chugging along at an acceptable pace.
Good being back, my friends.
Hot off the presses, folks.
Also, I'd like to use this post to say that chapter 6 is coming along nicely and at a quick pace... but something else is coming along at a quick pace, something I haven't made mention of yet... basically because I just began working on it. I'll be posting another blog soon announcing what this new thing is.
So, with this publication, I have to ask a question; how many of you are reading this? This story, upon launch, did very well initially; it got featured, it got into the popular box, and it raked in 36 likes. Problem is, its now two chapters later, and all of that forward progress has basically disappeared. Has this story been uninteresting? I dont typically pose these questions, since this has never happened, so the anomaly that has become this publication is worrying.
Aye, she be published, me lads.
On top of that, I'd like to provide you all with the music album that has basically served as the sole inspiration for this story in concept, name, and writing.

This album came out basically right as I began brainstorming Life In Boxes, and many of the songs were what inspired the tone of this fic.
Figured that'd be a fun little tid-bit for you guys, as I personally always wonder what inspires certain stories.
Thank Ice Star for that, as they were the one to say "you know, you should probably start getting this thing out the door".
Not a direct quote, but you get the idea.
Anyway... yeah, it's out! Read it, give it a like, and a favorite, and all that other stuff! If this hits the front page I'll cry.
