I just dumped my entire five-chapter buffer for Infinity's Edge for you all for Christmas. Enjoy, when you finally get time to.
Now to finish up chapter 13...
Tonight, at Midnight (PST), I will be doing something for all of you who read my words. Be prepared for something fun... If you like reading, that is.
Also, sorry for not updating Infinity's Edge in a while. Stuff got in the way of chapter 9, and I only recently fixed that...
So, if anyone's interested, I'll be setting my main story (Infinity's Edge,) aside for a bit, because i am working with a few other people on a collaborative story, known as "Under the Shadows of Industry," set in the Ponies After People universe. I'll still be working on IE, just not as much. Mostly I need to finish chapter 9 on that to make the rest of my buffer viable, though.
So, I've been heavily contemplating the wisdom of employing the creation of a "Doomsday Device," so-called, created merely out of someone's boredom.
Mind you, this will be a (usually,) good/neutral character.
As such, I shall get to the point. I am looking for ideas as to the following:
You've probably heard about something called a "Nova Blast," and no, I'm not talking about the person who goes by that name. I'm here to speak about a power shared by all (known) Toa, and several "empowered" Glatorian. Namely, the ability to gather excessive amounts of one's elemental power from the surrounding environment, put it through an internal feedback loop to exponentially increase its quantity, and then release it all in one great blast, the radius of which is about that of a small
So, today, April 11th, 2016, is an important day in Idle Holding Pattern, and you'll see why when I post my next chapter. The day I post it will also be important, for another reason entirely.
On another note, I may occasionally go back and add or tweak a detail or two in an already published chapter, (aka "retcon," or retroactive continuity,) that I feel didn't have enough detail, but I will keep this to an absolute minimum. I'm not Andrew Hussie, after all.
The plan has always been to delay publishing the next couple chapters a bit, so as to build up a sort of buffer. Unfortunately, I've been a bit sick the last few days, which has rather hindered my progress on the latest one a bit. Not to mention that I am waiting for certain things to occur before I can fully press on with chapters 5&6...
But yes, I seem to be doing better now. Seems that it was (for the most part,) just your average 72-hour bug.
I am the Knight, and as such, I fight.
