This blog post has been a long time coming, I think, but it's something I've refused to even consider for... too long, really.

Totally minor thing, but I just noticed that I put 2.1 above the first Interlude. The chapters should now be in the correct order. Sorry about that.
I don't know for how long or by what absurd means, but I'm back! I'm going to be working mostly on OLH, though I've got a first draft (to be revised) of the last Letter to the Sun which I'll try to get out sometime after Finals Week ends. Not sure what I'm going to do with Postclassical, but hopefully I'll manage to finish that too.
As for why i'm back, I think I can safely put 50% of the credit on the glories of antidepressants, and the other half on THIS:
Well, that took an unforgivably long time.
But yes the first Interlude chapter is out, and I can say with as much certainty as I ever have (read: not much) that I'll have the first part of episode 2 out within... let's say the summer.
But on a more serious note, yes, I actually just managed to put out two full chapters within a year of each other. That hasn't happened... in a very long time. Let's hope it snowballs, eh?
So since I've sort of become the "Homeworld guy" here on FimFiction (for what little that's worth) I thought I'd throw in my two cents about the remake, and my general impressions.
...
This is gonna piss some people off.
I really want to like this. I really do. And if I'd just played the HW2-based parts of the game... I really would have liked it. Unconditionally and completely.
But... they screwed some things up. Big time.

Sooooo... yeah. Actually, despite how that all sounds, I will have an update for you all sooner than later. Got a bunch of stuff done today (did you know you can read The Great Gatsby in a single morning?) so I'll probably actually have more time to write than usual. Plus, HW:R will keep me away from League and Warframe, which... should be self-explanatory, if you know what those are.
Just to prove that I can actually get shit done.
Note: All material presented here is subject to change. Revisions, and whatnot.

She stands in silence before the casket. The water around her legs chills her to the bone.
I know I shouldn't get my hopes up. It's Gearbox. We haven't seen much. We don't know what it's gonna look like finished...
BUT HOT DIGGIDY DAMMIT, I'm excited!
It's been a long road getting here, both in the literal and figurative senses. I don't like to ramble about my personal life—I feel work should be judged on its own merits, not on the trials that plagued its production—but this last year was a long string of chaos. I've written more this year than I ever have before, and though much of it never saw the light of day, I'm proud to say that OLH is back on track.
Yes, OLH just updated. The apocalypse might be nigh.
It's only a supplement—not a full chapter, but that will come very soon. Possibly even today, depending on when Benny gets back to me. I've finally gotten back on my game, and I'm hoping that this time I'll be able to keep going for a while.
I'll keep this short, since I've got writing-y things to do and don't want to lose my stride.
See you 'round!
Hey folks! It's been a while, and stuff has happened... though not as much writing as I'd have liked, but hey... college.
First off, have a picture.
See those? Those are gonna be real important to OLH pretty soon.
You've been waiting a long time for Ep2, and it is with the greatest sadness that I have to confess that progress has been... delayed. A lot.
I know that's old news by now, but there's a more relevant, uplifting, and irritating side to this.
Bronycon. I will be there.
Let me know if you want to hang out.
Postclassical Chapter 3 will be posted Saturday night unless something major comes up.
I've blasted through a major barrier in OLH. I'll hopefully get back on track after the con, and you'll hopefully see the results of that work before the end of August.
Letters to the Sun's final chapter is also in the works. I also intend to publish another bonus chapter or two before then.
So, OLH hasn't updated in way too long, and that's completely my fault. It's hard to write, because it's all very finely interwoven, with too many characters for any kind of simplicity or sanity. That, and I keep scrapping things and re-writing them. And also that my work ethic is really, REALLY bad.
But I do want to prove something.
I don't know if that's actually how you'd translate "part two", but I don't really care because I JUST PREORDERED HOMEWORLD REMASTERED.
And you can, too!

In other news, I AM still working on OLH (and Letters, though to the side as always) and I'm planning on releasing at least PART of Episode 2 sooner than later.
See you again soon, folks!
I should preface this with a confession: I posted OLH with massively inflated expectations. I thought to myself, "This is my masterpiece. This is my Fallout: Equestria, my Background Pony. This is what I will be known for."
So, because Gravity is an amazing movie, I ended up editing Chapter 1.5 of OLH. If you've already read the chapter, the edit is just after timestamp 8:10, and if you haven't read the chapter... then I don't know why you're reading my blog, exactly, but read the chapter please! The edit should clear up some small problems I had with the scene, whilst making another part vastly better, in my opinion.
It took almost a year, but it's finally here. My eleven followers, the guys who got here by accident, and that one lovely NSA agent (hey baby), the monster is finally out of its egg, and it's picking up altitude.
