FOR THE SOLAR EMPIRE!!!
Just like last year, expect a full blog post about my time there from July 15-17. It's gonna be fun!
I'll be heading up to Columbus for Trotcon in about an hour or so.
If you're up there and you want to find C2, look for a Santa hat.
Oh hey, guess what.
I'm going to be a community guest next month at TrotCon 2022.

BE THERE OR BE SQUARE.
ALSO...
THE FUN SHALL COMMENCE AT THE FILLYDELPHIA FUN FARM POST HASTE.
So since BronyCon is sadly no more, I’m moving with the flow to TrotCon 2020 in Columbus, Ohio in July.
1. Bought badge
2. Booked Room
3. Booked Flight
Sorry for not writing this up sooner; things kinda went south for me right after the con, but it's starting to look a little better now. I'd like to start off by thanking everyone who addressed me using female pronouns. I wasn't expecting that, and while it seems like such a silly thing to care about, it really did mean a lot to me. I think Zyrian was the first person to have ever asked me what my preferred pronouns were
its a week until the nearest bronycon near me, and I'm on the fence if I should go. I really just tend to lurk around the merch booths (I can't say no to swag. my poor wallet suffers though) and there's not a great selection of guests this year. And I don't know anyone who who's interested in attending. I want to support the local brony community by showing up, but... it mostly feels like an excuse to get neat stuff I'll never be able to set out. I'm not a very open brony.
July 7-9 this year will be my second Trotcon! It occurs to me I've amassed 4-5 MLP tabletop games, so I've put in for a 'panel' running and teaching them for people. If you're going too, let me know and let's try to meet!
Hello, all.
After an 11th-hour posting of the schedule, I am officially running Toon tabletop RPG games on Friday at 2:45 and Saturday at 7:45! If any of you beautiful Fimfic peeps stop by, let me know who you are!
I'll be running/teaching some board games at Trotcon. Anyone else who's there, come by the tabletop gaming section and say hi! (Or better yet, sit down and play!) I'll be happy to touch base and hang with any fellow Fimfic folks Friday or Saturday evening, too.~
My schedule (as on the official spreadheet):
Saturday July 8:
9am: Adventures in Equestria Deck Building Game
10am: Buck Legacy
11am: Twilight Sparkle's Secret Shipfic Folder
2pm: Pony Party Games
So passes my second Brony convention!
They moved to the Dayton convention center, making for less potential for impressive photos but also much more elbow room.
I felt like I had a better time, owing to a much more organized board game room that I ran about 6 hours worth of pony-themed games in (Buck Legacy, Adventures in Equestria, etc). The business kept me very active and made my free time very valuable. Maybe next time I'll make a proper panel...
Had a lot of fun, despite the trouble at the con. The hotel booked another event at the same time due to a miscommunication so the vendor's room and some of the ball rooms weren't available until 6PM.
I will be at Trotcon 2022! It's my first ponycon and I'm looking forward to it. If anyone who follows me is going, let me know and let's meet up!
As far as plans go, I've applied for a 'panel' to run tabletop pony RPG one-shots for anyone who wants in. Absolutely no word back from the organizers so idk, but supposedly they'll have tabletop game space so I'll likely spend most of my time there if nothing else.
Say, those names sound familiar…
Certain individuals—you know who you are—spent a good part of their time wandering around the final BronyCon pushing for Ohio's TrotCon to be its spiritual heir apparent. While it's far from its peak attendance, by my visual estimates, I say why the hell not? And Mr. Larson apparently agrees.
Bad news, friends, I will not be going to Columbus, OH for TrotCon July 15th through 17th.
Because I just booked a $900 acting gig that same weekend. $300 per day for 3 (possibly 4) days, wearing naught but underwear and a mustache, getting accidentally run over in a forest by a divorced couple, attacking the man, beaten with a crowbar by the woman, and shot by a racist at the end for a dark comedy short film.
