This story was an incredible pain to write. The first thousand or so words flew by effortlessly, and then the next four thousand were a slog over a week. The last thousand wrote themselves today. Worst of all, I have a takehome math exam due tomorrow that is going to be tough to finish on time.

However, I'd say it was worth it. I am satisfied with the final product. And hey! I got featured with Mature on for the first time, so that's really neat.

I kinda have an idea where terramar and silverstream inspire their mother. They inspire her to decide to choose to live on land and sea as a hippogriff and a sea pony, like her sister and niece also have chosen.

She loves the ocean, but she also remembers enjoying memories on Mount Aris too, with her family. So she decides to live on both sides.

For his part, Sky Beak also decides to do something similar. The two wanting to keep both parts of themselves in their hearts.

Last night, I finished the rough draft of Chapter 5 of Set Sail! Now begins the editing process. I have to make a first pass through the thing on my own, and then it goes to the editors. If all goes well, it will be out in the next week or so.

In other news, I'm about to become an inconsolable wreck tomorrow. Anyone else not emotionally prepared at all for the finale?
