That blog about what not to do to tea has become my most-viewed one since I announced the winners of the Villain Exchange Contest. I find that strangely hilarious.
In any case, have some fic recs:

I first came across Bubble Butt with their story I just wanted to go to Equestria!, which may be the only example of a "human in Equestria Girls" story on the site. (That is to say, a story where a more conventionally colored person finds themself in the vicinity of Canterlot High. Feel free to correct me on the superlative.)
Two events thoroughly worthy of your notice going on right now.
I just checked a cash stash I made for when stuff I need goes on sale in an MMO I play on pc right? Dungeons and Dragons online, DDO, good old game. Well, I had $50 saved up, and was going to take like, half to buy a visa gift card and use it to buy some stuff in game, but NOPE somebody replaced my 50 bucks with an IOU! THEY EVEN SIGNED IT, SO I KNOW IT'S THEM! But nooooooo~ He aint paying me nothin! I AM LEGIT SO MAD THAT I CAN HEAR MY HEART BEATING!
2-day ban from r/halo after telling a user where they could shove it after they continually defended the AFK boosting that has been plaguing several playlists this weekend.
Feels surprisingly... Nostalgic. I lost count of all the times I got temp bans from Bungie.net after telling laughable tryhards to just enjoy the fucking game.
Then there was that eventual permaban towards the end of Bungie's tenure with Halo.
Good times.
Primeseadragon has joined on December 2nd, 2019, written one story, follows 304 people/ponies, and only has 20 followers! They most certainly need more regognition. For reference, I still have not
Happy Halloween! See below for a few notifications, along with a spook.
Well, not quite a wolf, but there aren't currently any coyotes in Magic.
I wasn't aware of this before, but a few days ago, Cookie Crumbles' mother passed. In short, she needs support. She needs all the love she can get. We're going to fill her group and user page with all the love and support we can muster. I know I'd probably be broken if this happened to me. So go show her your support. And when she returns, she'll know we're still here for her.
Do you enjoy existential mysteries? Background humans? Morally ambiguous, enigmatic, plot catalyzing lovebugs? If yes to any of these, you're going to like The Fishbowl, Shrink Laureate's labor of love that's been years in the making. Going by what I've seen thus far, it's been worth the wait.
Time for my favorite game: Paranoid Obsession! (Can you detect the sarcasm?)
Speaking from experience, recursive fanworks are some of the most flattering forms of feedback one can receive. If you're fishing for these high compliments, here are two anthologies where you can cast your reel.
It's always nice to find a promising new author. RangerOfRhudaur is putting together some great EqG fics with magic resurging into the world at a terrifying rate. Those familiar with my own work will likely understand why that caught my interest. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
I don't know the dude who made this blog, and I don't know what he writes, but he's in a miserable condition.
Please, at least read it.
Thank you for taking the time, and may the Lord go with you.
If you're looking for up-and-coming new authors, TCC56 has picked some out over here. There's something for every taste between the three of them.
(And if you're looking for old authors, I just put out a story. Just saying. )
So you may or may not have heard about these Killer Clowns that appear at random places, creeping people out and following them home. One of my friends called me up today and she told me to guess what happened up the street from my neighborhood, I asked her what. I was afraid there was a car wreck or something by the sound of her voice. Then she tells me..."Girl, there was a fkn Clown walking up and down the street, just waving at people!"
I fell out.
I'm a bit late to the party here, but Nyronus put up a wonderfully insightful blog this morning on writing, writing advice, and the folly of blind adherence to conventional wisdom. Anyone who has even considered putting a story out there for others to see should give it a look.
We want you to ranger up- Oh wrong words and link.
On a serious note, I'm just spreading the word of a group called The Equestrian Writers Guild who needs help on This is Project: Harmony.
Even at this late stage in the fandom, it's always nice to see up-and-comers. The problem is finding them. i call this the "Redwood Problem." It's easy to notice the big names go, but spotting them as they arrive? Not so much.
I think we have a sprout.
