Hey there favoriters. Thanks for showing your support to the Wings of Fire story. I've wanted to write about these characters for a while, but I think I'll stick to crossover fiction until the 10th book is released and we finish the Darkstalker arc.

I’m pretty sure that all of you have read more than one story in your life, and I’d bet that most of you noticed that stories can be told from a variety of perspectives. If you prefer a somewhat fancier term, such a perspective can be also called a point of view (POV for short). Types of POVs, their usage, and common pitfalls are what’s this miniguide going to be about. Just like in case of the guides previously published here (and archived in my blogs), this is meant primarily for beginners

I hadn’t seen anything like what happened in the last month. One day to the next, keeping in a stable, yet safe and secure position will not be easy. I go jogging by the creek one morning, then find myself wobbling at the break of dawn on another. I find myself in an entirely new body I am unfamiliar with, and crawl under several trees in the shade on reflex until I can figure it out.
I was one of the many, many changelings who were there during the incident at the messhall.
I was about eleven or twelve at the time, and, like most incidents at the changeling hive, it all happened on a relatively normal day. The majority was just getting their daily meal that, for once, wasn’t love or any emotion whatsoever. Though, I will say I’d very much prefer the taste of love than (presumably) edible moss that’s sometimes served there.
I want to give a shout-out to three particular fim-fiction users, whose writings have helped me a lot.
Little bit of world building. Fully evolved, fully empowered Twilight Sparkle the Alicorn fully realized (meaning sparkly mane and everything and full size like Celly and having full access to her divine knowledge and wisdom), from the Prime Pony POV Verse timeline, is the only entity in the Pony POV Verse who CAN bring back the dead, the only one who can overrule Mortis.
But even she has restrictions. And I imagine using this power recklessly WOULD earn Mortis' ire.
Here's the problem: I have 2 female characters drama. The problem becomes evident whenever I use the word 'she' since it can refer to any one of them.
That means the third person is out the window. I can't use it. It can't be done neatly.
The content of the story doesn't matter, but since you all think it does, I'm posting my first draft here:

Here’s a question for all you clever writers who have studied literature, read books on how to write fiction, and enjoy correcting the rest of us about points of style:
Can you change the narrative point of view in the middle of a story?
The title says it all. Should I try writing a 2nd person fic similar to The Big One: Celestia from a female’s perspective? Obviously I’ll need to leave some details to the imagination as I am not a female but I was discussing this with a friend at work and I’m curious if anyone would be interested in this.
Since the recent years of becoming a storyteller both in FimFiction and real-life, I've improved the point of view and direction of my stories at the best I can, to show a more detailed story than the ones I have now, so you'll see a lot of changes to the upcoming stories and chapters to come.
If you have been following my novel, Sunset Shimmer Goes to Hell, today I published a different chapter. It is also a new chapter. It's different in that it introduces an new character, in first person point-of-view, as hinted in the first chapter of the novel. Some of you who have read other long fiction by me will recognize the new character soon enough. To be clear, it is the same story. It's simply that the story requires different points to contrast the reality of intersecting
As promised, there's a new POV in the story. Will it explain stuff? Maybe...
Hint: It's a first contact story featuring cultural relativism.
