The first chapter is almost finished, will be done by tonight. Escape From This Afterlife (Revised) will be submitted tomorrow, July 6th. I know I took a long time to revise, but trust me, it's worth it.
Expect gore, and a younger Crimson. He's twenty three, while the ponies are around twenty five/six. And, there will be more of an adventure element. In the previous version, we kind of just sat around in Ponyville and felt as though the plot wasn't progressing.
"I saw him come through here, Princess!"
I hopped over a fallen tree, and in the process, a rope. Following where the rope lead, it ended at a orange horse with a hat. Before it could try again, I kicked it in the head and jumped over it, continuing to flee from my pursuers.
"Applejack's down! Rainbow Dash, advance!"
Jesus. Christ.
After buying the campaign of Halo 3: ODST add-on for the Master Chief Collection and beating it, I just remembered that this is, by far, the best campaign out of them all.
That, and ODST's are fucking badass.
Oh yeah, Escape From This Afterlife's first revised chapter is at 3,000 and almost done. I plan on each chapter being 5,000/6,000 words each, that way they're easier to write, more will come out sooner, and I don't drag it on more than I have to.
Two Weeks:
Day Two: Last One Out, Get The Lights... - 1,649 words/15%
Night One: Night Of Debauchery (Mature) - 0 words/0%
Escape From This Afterlife:
Chapter 3: Renegades (Scrapped) - 0 words/0%
Crunch. Crunch.
Gravel cracked under my shoes as I walked, and walked, and walked; for what seemed like a time period of very fucking long. The hot, bright sun beamed down on me, punishing me with it's great heat and ungodlike radiance.
The first chapter is finished. It's at 4,500 words. I'm going for shorter chapters, but there won't be a month in between each one. Anyway, I'm going to release it tomorrow.
Sorry for the last blog, I fell asleep and didn't get to finish it.
So, I looked at the ratings for Two Weeks, and I'm curious: What's so bad about it? I mean, there are the occasional people that just randomly dislike people and then there's the shitposters, but I'm actually quite curious.
Also, I'm going to be busy. College. I'm sure you get it. Anyway, sneak peek for chapter 3 of Escape From This Afterlife! Also, I might go back to my older blog posts and write about them.
I killed again.
I noticed you guys are commenting on my blogs more, which is awesome. I love hearing what you guys have to say.
Anyway, to the topic at hand. I am working on the revised first chapter of Escape From This Afterlife, and I'm contemplating whether or not to release it after the first chapter is finished.
So, here's my question:
Should I release the story after the first chapter is done and then write and release the other chapters like I did when it first came out?
Or.
The revising of Escape From This Afterlife and the first chapter of Save Me is being delayed right now, because I want to take a break from Humans. So, I'm going to be writing something a little different tonight.
Orange: Celestia
Red: Crimson
"I know what you did. I can see it in your eyes; the guilt, the pain, the regret. I know, because I know how you feel. But, that doesn't excuse what you did, feelings don't excuse it. Nothing excuses murder."
Jesus. Fucking. Christ. In. A. Basket.
The revised story is going to be so different from the original. The literal revised first chapter is so fucking brutal and gory, and Crimson's crimes aren't going to be when he's in the army. Anyway, here's a list of what I will be adding, changing, and removing:
• Description is changed
• Tags are changed
• New Cover Art
If you're reading the title and thinking this is going to be a whiny, emo blog post about how much my life sucks and how I want to commit suicide, then fuck off. This isn't one of those.
No, I'm going to be leaving Fimfiction until the end of the year, and will come back next year. I want to try different things, write new stories besides plots that revolve around ponies, and branch out.
