One of my* stories was featured on Equestria Daily!
In all my time on here, I've been in the Fimfiction feature box before. But for someone who mostly writes clop, this is something I never expected to ever have happen!

If any of you follow EqD as closely as I do (that is: barely, if at all), then this blog may be of some import to you.
Equestria Daily has updated its audio reading guidelines (linked here)!
Among the major rule changes that are significant to us are:
Stories do not have to be featured on EqD prior to submission.
So Equestria Daily has a forum now...who knew? Apparently everyone else but me, lol! If you're over there and want to hook up, leave your profile link in the comments here or in a PM or just find me there. My profile link is HailKingSombra. Seriously, would it be anything else?
I meant to post this yesterday, but the few errands that we had to run ended up taking way, way longer than planned. But, better late than never!
I'm betting that many of you have already seen this pop up, but if not: My latest story, 'Handmade', has been accepted to EQD! The relevant post went out earlier today.
Well, I finally got around to try and see if Roses was good enough for EQD. Apparently... the answer is no. While they didn't put a strike against me, but the rejection is a bit disheartening. It doesn't help that they didn't give examples, so it leaves me at a loss as to what I could do.
Here's what I was told:
It's a long enough story that I can't delve into detailed instances, or I'd have time for little else, but the broad things I see are these:
"Battle Station Bass Cannon" made Equestria Daily!
Now I have to actually update this for once!
It has taken a lot of work, but now A Game of Kings and Pretty Pony Princesses is on EQD! I'm so happy my hard work will reach a much bigger audience.
But I couldn't have done it alone. Here are the people that helped me achieve this:
This would be my first Equestria Daily Feature! I’m kinda stoked!
We are live on EQD!
Also, as an update to my prior post: my recording equipment is in, and I am now largely satisfied with the results of my setup. I'll record a few episodes soon and release them here for your feedback. I'm excited to get started, even if I'm intimidated a bit by the great logistics of the project.
Take care, everypony.
This came as quite a pleasant surprise to me today. My story Tears In Dreams was featured on EqD's 50 + Of The Best CMC Fanfics to Read for CMC day this year!
Of everything I've written, this is probably my favorite. Pacing issues and all.
Blog title just about says it all. Dear lord has it been a pain trying to find skilled editors for this. Here's hoping it brought stuff up to EQD standards and we can move along.
That being said, if you do spot something wrong, please feel free to comment. I'm going to bed now.
Like the title says, I submitted Kingdom of Avia to EQD. We'll see how this goes.
Notes from previous blog as well:
This week or next week I plan to write at least one more chapter (or maybe more) of Kingdom of Avia. So if I haven't written the next chapter ("Journey North", it will be called) by next Friday, feel free to start nagging me to do it, provided you keep your comments civil.
You know I WAS planning on having a nice RELAX evening before I got to bed but no i just had to go on EQD and they just have to have some FNAT mlp x-over up. >:(
yeah the Celestia/Nightmare Star animatronic-thingy is most likely the creep one ( out of the three)
Well, that was certainly quick. I still need to do the re-adjustments that were asked, but the story is up here on EQD.

We made it! You guys rock, you know that?
New chapter drops this week, probably.
So I just got my feedback on Alicornae back from the pre-reader at EQD, and they said that there's a lot to like and the fixes that need to happen are mostly mechanical, as well as a few blunt phrasing a that need some work. This is the type of feedback that I got from them when writing The Princess and The
So, I submitted Anima, The Creation of a Princess to EQD, and much like with The Princess and the Seamstress there was nothing wrong with the story itself, but there is one characterization thing I need to fix and a bunch of tonal and grammatical fixes.
As such, those will be coming post-haste (once I get out of the Dark Souls III Abyss, so I'll probably start later tonight.)
My corner of Fimfic has been fairly quiet recently, but fear not, friends, for I have not been sitting idle! A handful of projects have been brewing in the kitchen over here, and tonight, the first dish is ready to be served!
I am proud to present to you all my latest story:
I GOT APPROVED BY EQD! Huzzah! However, with that approval also comes another round of fixes, mostly grammatical but a few content related ones that I'll need to get done while I wait for The Chance of a Lifetime to get up there. I'll be taking a break from Ch. 4 to do that.
