Magical Mystery - A Hitch Trailblazer Poem · 3:36am Nov 8th, 2021

All the creatures and critters,
Flying, walking, some swimming with flippers,
By their own way, yet constantly being hitchers.

Close by and sometimes clingy,
Every time I'm out on duty,
Sunny finds it so cutie,
Although it still annoys me.

Glancing at a mirror asking thee,
Give me a clue to this magical mystery.

Why do feathers and fur flock to me,
Is it the caring side they see?

Do I hold a sort of aura,
That exudes safety in a plethora,
Do they feel so secure,

Pretty Jackie · 4:04am Mar 25th, 2022

A quickie featuring everyone's favorite country pony. s/o Aquatic Vibes for the art - and ScandiBeats for the rhythm. Both provided a creative spark that led to this poem taking shape.

I hardly knew you,
Then you really grew on me,
Freckles fair and emeralds twinkly,
Say you need me, dear pretty Jackie.

Your eyes of shining emerald,
Make my heart assembled,

I Hope Y'all Like Some Surprises · 1:54am Jan 5th, 2020

...I'm releasing a Shimsham story a little earlier than planned! No, not the one that's supposed to come out on the 12th. That one will still be releasing with the schedule I gave it. This one is some more horse poetry. I've tagged Autophobia because this one goes along with the other -phobia stories in being in the same spiritual set of horse poetry in long form.

There's a bit of a buffer for it too, so it's not going to be lagging in updates much.

Fact:
As pointed out by Loganberry, FIMFiction hit an interesting landmark on the week of August 29: for the first (and so far, only) time, the number of Mature-tagged stories released that week was higher than the number of Everyone-tagged stories.

Screaming Into the Void · 2:19am Jun 6th, 2018

screaming into the void
mindless thoughts from pandora

What will someone see if they look into my eyes?

Hope? Blues and greens intertwined, a brightness and attention that feeds light inwards and out? The conscious watchfulness of a listener hand in hand with the hermeneutic disassembly of my ego? Id?

Such a Beautiful World · 3:13am Nov 20th, 2021

I see tall trees of green,
Bright berries too,
I shall pick a few,
For me and you,
And I think to myself,
Such a beautiful world…

I look up and see,
Amongst clouds of white
Pegasi flying free,
The earth ponies wave goodnight,
And I think to myself,
Such a beautiful world…

The shapes of the cones
With ice cream sweet as pie,
Are also on the heads,
Of unicorns trotting by,
I see them shaking hooves,
Saying, "How do you do?"
They are really saying,
"I love you"

Pay No Mind (In this house, I'm not home) - Sad / Heartfelt Poem / Song Lyrics · 2:35am Jun 29th, 2020

One more way and I'll find my home,
Where the water's cold, I know you'll be there,
See me in the shimmer of the glow,
I'm waiting to fade away,
In this house, I'm not home,
When it rains, I know I won't be heard,
Pay no mind to the screams of agony through the trees,
I won't dare breathe and you'll find a smile,
I know I'm done and gone,
I see it in your eyes, the flame of apathy,
In retrospect, I feel obliged to offer the comfort of soundless objection,

I Wrote A Rap! · 5:18am Oct 5th, 2015

It's not really pony-related so I put it in a blog, but still I appreciate you taking the time to check it out :3

Screw tradition

We’re on a mission

To plug the gaps

That plague the system

So no one falls through

So dreams come true

So you can trust

What the leaders tell you

No more lies

No more weasel words

Write laws in English

Not 12,000 words

Build a system

That we understand

That we can fight for

That we can comprehend

Flooded and Drowned · 12:57am Dec 6th, 2021

Now for something rather dark and solemn. This depicts a scenario after Sunny Starscout gets in a violent physical altercation with ponies who betrayed her, is knocked unconscious, and thrown into the sea. Based off of AssasinMonkey's art, and inspired by Xhydralisk's comment on it. Paraphrased a few lines from his poem for the last three lines of this one. Might expand on it later.

Water floods my mouth, consciousness not found,

Splat · 3:05pm Dec 7th, 2016

We are sorry to report
Today at this AM hour
Such unfortunate news.
But it's our job, so thusly we announce
Earlier this morning,
An Equestrian died on Earth.

Her name was Whistle Whisp
And she was quite the trailblazer,
But also quite the alcoholic.
Some time last night she drank
And then she tried to fly,
Forgetting that in our world,
There's no magic in the air.

Splat.

Ivory Tower · 7:13am Jan 21st, 2018

Oh, lonely tower made of bone
days of endless sun shone
and made you unready for flights of rain
that made breaches of your walls that forever stain;
the cracks and the voids in a tool now useless
to show your life as one that was ruthless.

O' tower, your tyranny delights in the flights of fancy
your material expensive. exotic. chancy.
In glory divine, in destruction divide
is it really not clear why your enemies hide?

Is there naught in your reign you cannot justify?

The only gods I have ever worshipped
Have been the ones I could touch
The ones that ask for nothing
Besides the gentle rotation of a thumb

The dragging of teeth over smooth skin
The silk of hair cascading where it shouldn't
Nails and fingertips tracing veins and arteries
Flesh and flesh and blood and flesh

And what god would not want to be revered
In the way that I pray to you
The same way every man should pray
On his knees, with your fingers in their hair
