I don’t like talking about my problems. Not in any great detail at least. I do not take pleasure in looking like I’m fishing for sympathy. But when life kicks you to the curb, you want to pull up a stool at your favorite pub and just vent with the bartender.
Hey all, hope you're all being safe and well.
So my plan for WMMH this year was to update at least once a month. That hasn't happened but most of what I planned for this year hasn't exactly happened. While I have at least four chapters written, my beta got sent off to a remote part of Alaska for his work, to work long days with very little internet or free time. So poor Moony is waiting for his return so we can work on edits and get a load of chapters out.

There, now that that's out of the way, let me say something else. I. HATE. "Feud" episodes. Why do I hate "feud" episodes? Because they are annoying and predictable. Why are they annoying and predictable? Characters get into a fight over something ridiculous, character's IQs drop so they can do petty things to eachother, and then they realize how stupid they are being and make up on the spot. Roll Credits! Yawn.
Well, as anyone who's been following for the past few months knows that at least two months by my count a cat knocked part of my family's computer (The tower specifically) of it's table rending the computer useless until someone takes a look at it.

I hate this year. And not for the most obvious reasons. Anyone who has been keeping track of my activity on this site probably remembers my choice words for 2018, which I still hold up as the worst year of my life. But if 2020 does not outright dethrone that year, then 2020 is at the very least the most miserable year of my life thus far. And the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t even a significant factor in it.
I...had a nightmare a week ago, a pretty disturbing one.
I haven't watched a zombie film in a very long time, the last one being Shaun of The Dead, a favourite of mine that I haven't seen since a few months. The dream I'm about to tell you about freaked me out, and I'm pretty freaked about it right now as I write this. As a matter of fact, this is a topic I'm scared about all together as a whole, a fear. Makes sense it's illustrated through my nightmares, doesn't it?

If you didn't know, I have a grandmother who recently beat a very rare case of cancer. She was strong, we prayed for a miracle and she survived. We thought everything would be fine from then on, but just recently, about a few days ago, she started feeling very sick. And it's important for a cancer survivor NOT to feel sick after treatment like chemo and all that. So this past Sunday, she's having breathing problems and finally my aunt takes her to the hospital.
Not many things in general life do faze me, and if they can or if they do, it has to hit a nerve with me or have a significant relevance to me or somebody I know, i.e, family.

However, when I lamented in-chat that Sunset Shimmer would be an Equestria Girls-exclusive character, and then she commented that she prefers it that way... that's when the dam broke.

This week has been... Well, overwhelming. Not in the way last week was, but more... like with some life stuff.
For starters, my Mom struggling with her technology was a big thing. I'm trying to give her support because she's teaching from home, but I had to do a lot of her work for her and getting told that I wasn't doing it fast enough or not doing it right multiple times by my dad (who was observing and has no clue what her work entails technology wise), was incredibly frustrating.
