Oh boy, today was a day. Rather than give you a long, ranty blogpost about the two delightful comebacks I got to work on (one which had a failure which had nothing to do with what I'd fixed on the car previously and the other which had a recurrence of an issue that the customer had chosen not to repair the last time we saw it) or discuss the Ford Ranger that I'm diagnosing for a no-start (in the case of this Ranger, no-start is in everyone's best interest, because then the owner can't drive it
Happy Labor Day, y'all! Here in the US we celebrate by letting some workers have the day off while other still have to work. Also one of my neighbors celebrated by launching a few leftover fireworks, but that's not exactly tradition.
So we've finally reached the end of the app stories (at least on my end). Express your sorrow or happiness as appropriate.
Figure I ought to at least say something about the stories and the ponies.
Well, we've reached the end of the week, and so here's the promised ginormous blog post that covers ALL THE THINGS.

It's probably going to be super-long, 'cause six stories. Also I can't tag them all, so I guess I'll just have to tag one.

Thanks to AlwaysDressesInStyle for pre-reading!
Special thanks to MSPiper for pre-reading! On short order, ‘cause that’s how I roll!

First, let me thank my pre-reader, MSPiper, who’s persevering despite technical issues and scheduling issues.
First off, let me thank my pre-readers! AShadowOfCygnus, metallusionismagic, MSPiper, and MrZJunior!
Today I was giving a customer a ride home, and she started talking about Kobe, and then asked if I though he was the happiest man on Earth.
I said that I didn’t know.
And by the time I’d dropped her off at her house and started on the way back, I had most of the plot of this story in place.
New chapter of Taco Bell Espionage, yay!
As always, thanks to MSPiper for pre-reading!
Taco Tuesday’s tomorrow, don’t you know.
A while back--and I can’t be bothered to check my notes or my blog posts where I might or might not have announced that this was a thing that I was going to do--I mentioned that I was catching up on some of the Prompt-A-Days that I missed back in the day.
I seem to recall someone complaining that it was going to be a second-person fic.
Deal with it, someone.
