Heyo! Welcome to the first edition of GOB News, where I talk about two to three subjects in detail. Today I'll start you off with this little bit. Today, I began my German language class, because I felt like learning German instead of French, Spanish, or Chinese. And right when I walked through the door, I was already confused. There was this one word that had like, fifteen letters in it and all it translated to in English was,
Moon vs. Sun
Ambition vs. Humility
Intellectual vs. Physical
Random vs. Rational
Sound vs. Sight
Love vs. Indifference
Hey guys, Dubs here. I've got a new story outโor, really, more like a collection of stories. The Life and Times of Loud Mouth. Read on for more info.
So I've been working with a couple artists who were very generous to lend a hand to helping me design Trixie's character in Equestrian Earth, and I'd like some feedback on them. Really genuine feedback. If you think something looks bad and could use changes, lemme know. Because, you know, the core design lies with me so if something doesn't look good or isn't appealing, let's talk.
First up, Trixie's Outfit.

GetRekt's Submission:
The last of the contestants had made it back to the mansion, they were unsurprisingly quiet on the ride back. The loss of the other two contestants had stung hard on all of them. Even Reneighah, who was usually talkative and positive, stayed in silence for the majority of the evening, too shocked to form words.
Coalstone looked about ready to erupt in anger taking a glance back at the bus, before kicking the doors to the mansion open.
So as I mentioned earlier this week there is another story planned for some time next week. Now, I also have the next four or so stories to come after that planed and the ideas for them ready. Yet I was wondering what people would like to see after that.
So, I watched the Batman: The Killing Joke movie that recently came out last month. Being a big Batman fan, and overall DC fan, I of course have nitpicks of it. However, I was surprised to see what many other fans thought of the film. Now, fair warning before I continue, there will be spoilers for The Killing Joke and the recent episode of MLP. You've been warned.
I hate shipping. Normally, my standard response to shipping talk is "shipping is a plague." But in this case, allow me to tell you why I believe that.
But first, to preface, I don't actually care if someone ships or not. I'm not out to ruin anyone's fun. Shipping in and of itself is not the problem. The problem is all the bullshit that comes with it.
These thoughts are in response to a comment of the esteemed Alex Warlorn, who said:
One reader suggested that Trixie and her sisters were an unwitting Element of Magic breeding program, but that felt WAY WAY WAY too immoral for Celestia. She loves her ponies too badly to use them as chess pieces.
A SUBTLE Millennial Breeding Program
---Season 9--Episode 17---
After years of reading people's hot takes, "Idiot Ball" seems to have become a more succint, and somehow nicer, way of saying that the writing for a character is badly and contrived. It should mean that their actions are so contrived, it takes the viewer out of the story. But that issue is so recurrent and expected that critics have just turned it into a story beat of Friendship is Magic.

And the new video is out, a week later! Hooray! It's Sunset Shimmer's turn, and this one was so cute! I think it gave me diabetes. Can you guess who's next up for a reading out of these two - Wallflower Blush / Twilight Sparkle (Sci-Twi)
And it's hilarious, so much so, I just have to share it.
Not made by me, obviously, so credit where credit's due.
Todayโs post is going to be more about editing. Sort of. But Iโm getting ahead of myself.
So first, welcome back readers! I hope you all had a good weekend! Especially with Episode 12 of Fireteam Freelance having dropped on Saturday. Was that a ride or what?
