Honestly, I thought it was a great episode. The writers did something I never thought they'd ever do, and that's make me actually like Diamond Tiara. And I can't say I didn't see that ending come, but it was nice nonetheless.

I'm only counting the songs that were song by the Cutie Mark Crusaders as a group, any solo songs from just one member don't count. Still, that leaves a grand total of twelve songs to consider, more than any main character except Twilight or Pinkie Pie. However, which ones truly represent the CMC as characters in addition to any qualities they might have on an entertainment level? Well, that's what we're going to find out. It's like a cutie mark. How do you know till you find it? I've honestly never felt more sympathetic to the cutie mark crusaders, the last one even more so than the two who get theirs first. My two best friends are going into vocal music and neuroscience. I'm the only one left.

Okay, so... calmed down, watched the ep again now that my head wasn't exploding for the last five minutes of it.

Overall, a great episode. Very strongly reminiscent of Magical Mystery Cure, and considering what happens it's an appropriate parallel. The numerous songs, the transformation at the end, the letter to Celestia. This felt like a season finale, in a good way, because it was grand and world-changing.

I started orientation for work yesterday (by the way I got a job, go me) but I didn't get to sleep till like midnight, woke up at 5, couldn't sleep again, was at orientation nine to six, came home, ended up passing out at like eight, and eventually woke up, tried to go to sleep, sleep, said screw it, played Borderlands till four.
