The series has been building up the character of Vinyl Scratch, giving her the ability to use music to shape the reality of the [spoilers]
Thanks to a piece I published last week called Your Faithful Disciple, I happened to be put in the feature box for the first time since joining the site, which happened at this point very close to a decade ago. In that time, I’ve put out only a handful of stories, many of which sit unfinished. But being featured inevitably attracts attention—attention for which I am grateful, and which has translated into the form of a bevy of new followers. To you, I say welcome.
So whilst helping my editor edit the last three chapters of Sunset Helpers, we noticed something interesting. I totally called the schools name!!
To prove it, here's an excerpt from CH2 Attack of the Mash
“Crystal Academy’s cool and all but it’s so boring compared to Canterlot High. I feel like I’m missing out. Like, all the cool stuff happens there.”

For those who might have been keeping up with it, the comic adaptation of Goodnight, Somepony is drawing to a close. Page 14 features Vinyl's bittersweet lament, as she sings a tune based upon a lullaby from the 1957 musical The Music Man, entitled "Goodnight, My Someone".
Shadow Combat was inspired by both Sora's Heartless mode from Kingdom Hearts and four tailed Kyuubi mode from Naruto.

Hello Everypony.
Last night marked the publication of the final page of the comic adaptation for Goodnight, Somepony. For me, it was a grand, fun ride translating the story into comic book manuscript pages, and I can only dearly hope that whomever favored it with their time, enjoyed it as much as I did writing it.
What writing Silent-verse Vinyl Scratch has been like the last month and a half.
So, 20K words later, and I am still stuck on 19. Good news is, I have plenty of things to draw from for later once some character growth happens, but she is a stubborn one. I am desperately trying to hit a story beat, but she just won't let me now matter how hard I try! It all stems from the reveal in the chapter 18.
After the featured box had, back to back, a story about Dante adopting a tiny Applejack followed immediately by one about Elsa adopting Snowdrop, a friend and I started talking about the only reasonable next step: having a Katawa Shoujo girl adopt a pony.
Shizune (deaf mute) and Vinyl Scratch (mute)?
Emi (fastest thing on no legs) and Scootaloo (pegasus with defective wings)?
Misha (insufferable pink haired autist) and Pinkie Pie?
It's been awhile since I've done a sad comic! Let's do another! This is my take on an alternate ending for the I Am Octavia animation.
So the next chapter is a crossover! I don't want to spoil anything so you'll just have to wait and see which Displaced Vinyl will meet. It's about time she met another Displaced don't you think? Hopefully it won't take too long to finish this chapter, in fact I already have part of it started. (And it's gonna be a long one)
And hey some important story progression will finally take place too!

I'm starting to like the alternate versions of Vinyl and Octavia now. This is what sold me on them. Plus, who doesn't like the idea of a prim and proper Vinyl Scratch? I've always loved these two but when the comics showed the alternate realities and I caught a glimpse of them my mind went wild with possibilities, to the point I now like the alternate versions rather than the originals. What do you think my loyal and dedicated fans?
So I just watched episode 9 of season 4. BEST EPISODE EVER! While I by no means accept it as law when it comes to the characters I loved the fact that the writers have payed attention to the fan base and brought up almost every character stereotype at least in passing. The sisters moment with the princesses, the omages to doctor whooves, sweetie drops/bonbon, the flower girls, and Vinyl and Octavia's house especially. But I want to say that none of what happened changed my
