IT'S FLIGHT DAY AT LAST! ✈ In a little less than sixteen hours, I'll be headed to the airport to fly off to see my beautiful baby girl! Four months of saving, hard work, and a lot of planning have all culminated in this trip becoming a reality, and I am really so proud of myself for making it this far.
I had to rewrite it three times, I changed my mind many times and I ended up writing a chapter twice as long as I foreseen, but in the end, the chapter 07 of the Mare in the Warp is coming. I think it should be ready for next weekend (not this one... that is ending today... sorry).
Thank you for your patience and I hope it will pleases you.
See you soon, and may the Empress be with you.
So, I realised something really irritating today.
Ho, boy, was this a long time coming.
I'd apologize for the wait, but the few of you that stuck around are probably sick of my endless winging about how I most definitely will get back to work and hopefully post something in the near future, but the truth is, it has been a bit difficult for me on that front.
That's right, I still exist! For those of you wondering why I disappeared and didn't post anything this past weekend, the answer is simple: I burned out. I realized over the weekend that, in my efforts to maintain a once-a-week update under my current available time, I was running myself ragged and producing a lower-quality product. So I decided it was time to take a break from FIMFiction entirely and just relax for a while. I bought me a new game and have been devoting the past few days to
REMEMBER HOW TWO YEARS AGO I wrote the outline of a huge RariTwi Parent Trap AU and it was honestly one of the best things i've ever done and i should quit writing everything else to write this?
Well, trying to be a busy little beaver dragon this week and spend my free time doing productive things instead of browsing the Internet and wasting time procrastinating. It is invigorating to throw myself into things, and I wonder just what it is that keeps trying to pull me back into the petty and frivolous when I could be doing far more enjoyable things.
Is it base human nature?
Is it fear of actually trying?
Is it just the ease of consuming the easily digested?
Ah, well.
So...I've been hearing a bit about The Witches 2020 produced by Netflix. Apparently it's one of many things just about everyone on Youtube is saying is the 'Worst Thing Evah' and 'Ruins The Original' and various other rants that somehow make the creators feel like they've achieved something.
Now, I am something of an Anne Hathaway fan, mostly for her work in 2002's Nicholas Nickleby.
On the subject; Rest in Peace Christopher Plummer. Your legacy in acting will never be forgotten.
Hahah wow I sure hope Fimfiction user Bad Horse doesn't mind me sharing this 100% real absolutely unedited unforged super veridic conversation we really had! I would have asked him for permission first, but he's offline, and I might be going to a place with no Internet for a couple weeks.
13 more days until you can shoot a guy in red for breaking into your home...
Short Film Rating Scale:
💜: Lovely! Absolutely beautiful!
🩷: Pretty cute.
❤️: That’s adorable. But I’ve seen better.
💙: Decent.
🩵: Um, that’s kinda weird.
🩶: Not good-looking.
🖤: The ugliest thing I’ve ever seen!
I'd like to think it's for a good reason, but I might be all out of those. I've had writer's block and very little time to attempt to correct it. Normally, when I have no motivation I like to whip my ADHD no-focus and hyperfocus into shape, though it all depends on which one has decided to claim me. But no, I've mostly been dealing with my university coursework, and that I've declared a double major earlier this semester.
In all honesty, I saw this short back when it first debuted on Disney+, having managed to regain access to one of my family member's accounts. And when I saw it...I was instantly blown away by how awesome it was! Everything about "Once Upon a Studio" was a truly beautiful way of celebrating Disney's 100th anniversary, and it was a genuinely touching tribute to Walt Disney himself as well. And to Burny Mattinson, considering he passed away before the short was released.
