So I finally sat down and typed out a more-or-less complete history and explanation of the various gods of my AU. For your reading pleasure, I present it now to you. The entries are set up as follows -- The name of the entity is given, followed by their relative age, domain, various nicknames, and sexual and gender orientation. There then follows a few humanizing tidbits of information, the names of any minor gods who fall under their auspice, and a segment on their role in Equestrian history.
behold, my garbage.
It was bigger than a pony, almost as big as one of the Princesses. Its skin was jet black, sans four white stripes crossing its chest like a ‘V’. The featureless face only sported two red eyes, surrounded by white markings, like the ones of a killer whale. There were also wings over the monster’s back, folded over it and covering most of its sides, but letting its forelegs out. The limbs were slightly red, ending in what looked like claws to Trixie. That’s when she noticed the chains
Would she be best alicorn?
So what is the real story behind the mysterious and powerful Amulet in "Magic Duel" of the MLP Show?
No one really knows.
But there are many numerous head canons that say that the Amulet is an Element of Chaos/ Disharmony!
(Evil Maniacal Laugh)
And while I support this theory, there is one, well actually many, thing(s) I disagree with.
THE ALICORN AMULET DOES NOT ACTUALLY REPRESENT THE ELEMENT OF DARK MAGIC/ POWER.
Twilight: Teleports right into Celestia's bedroom "LUNA WHAT THE BUCK IS GOING ON?! YOU TOLD ME CELESTIA IS DEAD?! HOW?! WHY?! WHAT HAPPENED?!"
Luna: "Oh! Hello Twilight Sparkle. Yes, our sister has died."
A little filly alicorn with pink hair is on the bed.
Luna: "There she is."
Twilight: "..." Twilight .exe has failed
Luna: "You see, to allow alicorns to survive so long, every so often we undergo a regeneration cycle where we die, and are reborn."
So a lot of people wonder what is going to happen to Zack, mostly after the who Chrysalis arc of Vol. 2, and while this won't be a direct preview for that......this is something that I have been planning further down the line in the story. and this drawing came to me, of course I'm keeping obscuring for no major spoilers, but hopefully this will entice my readers of the fic to wait what and see what I have in store for you all and Zack.
Alicorn ascension is a subject for a lot of fics, and it can be done badly. But it could also be done in interesting ways. For instance, by accident.
An Earth pony family digs deep into the Earth Pony Magic during foalbirth. Tapping into the magic of the Earth, as far as they can to keep their foal alive. And when he comes out, the foal... Ascended into an alicorn.
So, this blogpost is actually kind of a repost, inspired by the lovely lunch discussion at the post-TrotCon writers-have-to-eat-too informal-get-together-thingamajig. Originally, I think three years ago now, I put out a blog post which I later deleted, during one of my college courses on East Asian Philosophy and in this case Mahayana Bhuddism. Fear not, dear reader, I don't require you to know what that is. Only know that it has Bodhisattvas in it, and that for the Bhuddists who practice it

So, just watching the latest episode and… so sue me, I’m getting a little more respect for Flurry Heart. What I’m liking is all the incidental lessons she’s teaching the audience about reality and literature, even as we’re all reluctant to learn them.
Alternate tittle: Fluttershy's character development
Well, since this is technically a continuation of the previous editorial, I'll skip the introductions.
I want to state something, even if it's only for the record. There's a goddamn storm going on in Santiago at the moment of this blog's writing. And it's nighttime. And tonight is two years since I published the original one-shot for "Actually, I'm Dead", a story that, among other things -many tropes and references-, features the use of "it was a dark and stormy night" bit for what was a key piece.
Oh, we're so close.
Third Act's opening finished.
Third Act's first scene finished.
Third Act's final scene sketched.
The most recent chapter was as far as I planned, aside from some potential one-shot spin-offs maybe. I have the impression that people might want a more well-rounded ending though. How would you guys like to see it end? Anything you'd like to see?
Alicorn oh alicorn why have you arrived?
What's parts of your backstory aren't heavily contrived?
And if I ask why horns and wings
instead of a canon race
I get a bunch of hate mail
Crammed right into my face
Alicorn oh alicorn is that your real oc?
Are they here to cause the rest of us a wave of misery?
Or is their purpose to this plot
And not just Mary Sue
To bring their pony higher
Than a pony who is true
So alicorn, dear alicorn
Are you Luna's son?
Hasbro said on the subject of Twilight and Cadance who accended that they are a different type of alicorn then Celestia and Luna who where born that way. Now Flurry Heart IS by Hasbro's logic an immortal alicorn like the sun goddess. They just had to make the baby an alicorn. Now you may "and the part about being an immortal?" ah well it's the eyes. All the other babies we've seen so far had simple one color eyes. She has eyes of a child much older. Now if all the babies portrailed from now on
Hello, it's me again. I've been thinking a lot ever since I've written my last blogpost, and here's what my brain came up with. I still had plans, BIG plans, for where I could take my Divine Universe, and now I'm certain they'll never see the light of day. Thinking about it made me realize just how big of a commitment that would have been, and considering I got other stuff to do, I concluded that I'm not willing to commit to that. The size of the various stories would have been smaller overall,
