Chapter One is done.
But on my end its also one am. So I'm going to spend a bit editing any weird mistakes. But also releasing it like when I wake up.
I wrote 4k words in a day.
For me that's almost impossibly prolific.
Be back soon.
It got a little weird and a bit dark at the end but it is also a story where a super oldschool sci fi idea happens.
So now the two ponies will happily fix each other's lives by doing their routine and also being a different pony than normal.
As you all know some readers in this site want's serious stories and not comedy-romances. Luckily they pushed me to doing it and I like it for some reason. Yes I will do a three-chapter story arc involving no comedy whatsoever. Without further a do, I present the chapter names and their summaries:
Chapter 14 - How Long Will I Love You? - Vinyl and Treble face a crisis that will ultimately affect their relationship.
Next What If chapter is gonna be a story pitch.
About what, you say?
Well, what I'm writing right now pretty much serves as the first chapter for a Displaced story.
Now, I know what you might be thinking... "Displaced? Seriously, are you out of your mind? That genre's been milked to the bone by the fandom at this point!"
a new group for the cowboy of overwatch, mccree. link is on my page if you want to check it out
Hey guys, so it's late at night and I should be working on a paper, but I took a quick break from it to bring you some news. I am canceling "Stuck". I do not have the same passion for it as I did when I was 17. Here I am, 21 years old, writing better stuff now. I know some of you are saddened and disappointed, and I can not blame you. This story was how I got onto the site and how I became a brony. But I feel that the story is going nowhere, and, to be honest, the story is crap. It really is.
I guess I missed writing it because it's coming quickly; I've already got 5600 words of the next chapter written and may well have a completed draft by Thursday. If so, I will aim for a weekend release. And since you've waited a few months for new content, have a teaser. The following is told from the viewpoint of then-Commander Tailwind:
EAS Loyalty
Just north of Lake Luna on Thestralslovakian border
September 4th, 1139 AC
0002 hours
Now that's got me hype. Maybe there's all the amazingly detailed squish faces that are kind of weirdly adorable or the whole worldbuilding thing. This movie looks good.
The noise I made when I saw there would be seaponies in this here thing, bird pirates, Sia pony which is literally just Sia as a pony that's the weird thing to be honest, but humanoid cats are a thing and weird monkey? looking guy.
I am now once again working on the story LWF:ANW and expect the next chapter withing the next two weeks. And because you guys are awesome here is a sneak peek at the next chapter!
By the way, this will be spoiling a bit so if you want to wait until the chapter comes out to see it, I suggest not reading the next section
You know…
Give and Take is on its way to moderation. Keep an eye out for it today!
Literally my face right now.
Hey everyone its been a really long time since the last blog I did. Anyway this is just for anyone who wanted to know why i've been on and off on my stories.
(The fun never ends) this story will be cancelled for good. The reason is a bit complicated and would take a while for me to explain. I may do that in a different blog if anyone really wanted to know.
I'm sorry for the delay, but I had one of my worst bouts of writers' block in recent history over the third chapter of the Cloudsdale battle, unable to figure out how it was going to work--how civilians and retired veterans away from the weather factory could or would successfully fight back against the Knights and Ravens. But being down with the flu for the past few days was good for one thing; it gave me plenty of down time to think about it and I'm pleased to say I finally broke through and
The climactic Battle of Epsilon chapter is draft complete and currently tipping the scales at a whopping 15,194 words. Musical selections are also made--expect some very heavy metal from a particularly appropriate album courtesy of AJ_Aficionado!--and it's now awaiting prereader passes. After due consideration, it is not going to be broken up into two parts. It's a big chapter because it needs to be in order to tell the full story of The Battle Beneath the Storm.
Tentatively titled “Storm Warning”, I'd hoped to have the new chapter draft complete by now, but it's not. It's about 2/3rds done, standing at around 6300 words currently. I've got the start, the ending, and the first of the middle sections more or less written, but two other sections remain. And then I have to make some graphics. Be advised, it's going to be a big chapter; probably 10k or more words.
I saw Star Wars IIX yesterday and after consulting some of my friends who are big Star Wars fans and some who aren’t, I have some interesting feedback on it.
Spoilers below the break:
It's coming, but slower than I would like. The chapter currently stands north of 13.3k words and is going to be released no later than Thursday morning even if I have to break it in two--which I really don't want to do. What's holding this one is up my busy work schedule and many little scenes and battles that have to be included; they require a lot of thought and careful planning. This one is going to set a record for number of different perspectives; each one is both essential and must
As I've been working on Nightmare Night lately and will continue to do so for at least a couple more chapters--I have momentum and a desire to keep working on it at this point since it's near its climax--I haven't put in much work on Firefly lately. There is, however, news on it. The VA work for Firefly continues, and several pieces of artwork/advertising are on the way. More guest chapters are coming, and I have made one minor but important retcon to an earlier chapter:
It's coming in at a record 17.5k words, pending any prereader-recommended changes. There will be no chapter split, and no respite for either the readers or the characters. Expect this one to go at a breakneck pace with lots of action and perspective shifts, as well as a couple twists.
