Stop...my sides....! XD · 6:12pm Aug 15th, 2015
Bon Bon scares me.
First off, I've been having technical problems. Sorry for all resultant delays. (They are still ongoing.)
Second, some people thought that I was unfair in my characterization of the human six in Forgotten Friendship vis-à-vis their treatment of Sunset after forgetting pretty much everything she'd done of note since the end of the first movie. Not all of that conversation took right here and in public, so some people might be wondering what in Tartarus I'm talking about.
Hey guys, its been a while! I don't think 2020 has been treating us all the best but I hope your doing ok!
Okay, part three! The original version really stuck out like a bent nail in the series, being the only season that had thirteen episodes instead of twenty-six. To fix that, I've added an additional thirteen episodes to the season to fill it up, some were brought forward from later seasons and most of the new ones are original episode ideas.
Onto Season Three! Now expanded to double length to fit in with the rest of the seasons!
Good god this movie went way beyond my expectations. Lets start off at the first thing I loved about it, the way that they showed the Human Twilight. I felt like a real time loop of her not knowing about friendship like in the first episode of Season 1, and no I don't count the first Equestria girls movie saying its also similar (Lets never talk about it).
Loving the feedback on the extended season three! Let's keep going!
Onto season four!
Ep. 1 “Princess Twilight Sparkle, Part 1” – Same as canon. Following Twilight’s coronation and the Sunset incident, Twilight still has doubts about being a princess. She is forced to act as princess when Celestia and Luna mysteriously disappear. Zecora provides a potion that helps her look into the past for answers, and witnesses the original rise of Nightmare Moon.
Would've had this up yesterday, but was busy with friends doing something else. Here's where canon really started to get divisive. Let's see if we can smooth things out, yeah?
Onto season five!
Back on track with posting on Saturday! This one is going to be a bit longer because I'm including the big Movie in this set.
Onto Season 7: Friendship Legends!
I am very upset right now because computer. ;_; All I feel like doing is riffing on this weird-ass movie.
So, today Discovery Family ran about 10 minutes of the movie, including one song.
Excitement is increasing!
Also, going by the promos for the movie that began running today, it looks like the DFC premiere of Friendship Games will be in the evening on the 26th, not in the morning.
No new shorts were premiered during the Sneak Peek. but Short #5 was posted to the MLP Facebook page today. You can watch it on EqD or check it out in the comments below.
It's so subtle, and after two years of fanfiction, one can be forgiven for not noticing this, but...
Applejack: "You comin', Sunset?"
This line marks the first time in canon Sunset hasn't been addressed by her full name.
Equestria Girls 3 is Sports themed! I so freaking CALLED IT!
Also:
...Pinkie Pie. The line "Yeah, yeah. We get it. Light her up ladies!" from Forgotten Friendship gave me the laugh that I had been needing all week.
That made my day!

So... my friends.
Season 9 premieres today, the final season, the last leg of our journey through the show after almost ten years.
......and let me just say..... it was the BEST Equestria Girls Special EVAR!!!!!!!!
Pretty good. I liked it alot. Also.
I ship it. A lot. Look ast those sex eyes.
Also also.
I might write a story about Sunset finding something unkiddie friendly in Wallflower's bag.
But yeah. Good episode.
Okay, final part! Here we go! I had a harder time coming up with original episodes for this one compared to the last part. That said, I hope you enjoy my final season for Updating Friendship.
Onto Season 10: Beginning of the End!
It must be the ideals. Rainbow Dash is loyalty; Rarity, generosity; Fluttershy, kindness. Very explicit and obvious virtues that most people hold up as good to the point of being stereotypical. But it's more than the obvious labels, it's latent. There are ideals in Equestria that I deeply believe in, running the groundwork of the show and its world. But, at its most fundamental level, it's not kindness or honesty or even loyalty. It's something else. I'm not sure what it is,
