The title comes from Truth or Consequences, which was a game show and is also the name of a town in New Mexico.
I certainly hope this one satisfies y'all's Discord/Twilight sweet tooth. It may have gotten a little repetitive at times, but this is a scene I've been sitting on for a couple years now.
In going through my huge NaNo docs, I keep finding little scenes that I want to expand. They typically fill me with one of two emotions: 'Oh, man, I can't wait for my readers to see this!" and "Man, I used to be so good. Why can't I write like this anymore?" (sometimes both simultaneously).
Again it's the solo way again, and I'm not as happy with it as I could be, but here y'all are. Another chapter for you to enjoy (I hope).
If anyone of y'all are going to be in Knoxville, TN on October 8-9 for SSCC, I'm not only going to also be attending, I shall be hosting a fanfiction writing panel entitled: 'Confidence in Fancition'.
Okay guys, it's up. It's not all that pretty and polished, it's kinda rough, but it is up for your eyes to read and with hope enjoy.
I'm calling it the part 2 to chapter 1 mostly because the real chapter two is going to take place a good time after these events and I wanted to give the time change its own chapter to sink in instead of just going [____ TIME LATER] and continuing in the same chapter.
Just wanted to make a new post to let those that care know I am still alive and still intend to bring DiH out of hiatus. I've recently started a new job and am embarking on a possibly very cool new venture for my voice work (more on this story as it develops).
Well, I have not been on here since before the contest end it, so it probably does not surprise you that I did not win. Perhaps you might be sympathetic and be bummed for me. For that I would thank you because I am bummed too. I did however, amass over $2,000 for the charity and was complemented by the site the contest was hosted on for one of the videos I made. Same video was apparently also seen by the Rick and Morty team. (Which is awesome)
Fun fact: I have written about 5,200 words of my NaNo stories this year on my phone. :P

In DiH news, still working on it for NaNo. Hit 15k yesterday and I'd say about 5k of that is stuff I can use.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Hey y'all, I just wanna keep you in the loop. My pal/collaborator who is also my main PR has been super busy lately and not been able to look at my in-progress chapters. I've been doing my best to keep a steady dedication to just sitting down and writing, and also to being a better partner in my joint ventures with him.
Behold my illusion of progress! No excuse, not a good explanation. But I *am* still working on it. \
I keep pecking away (and angstily sighing as I delete what I just pecked :P). If y'all have anything cool or inspirational that you think might help motivate me, I'd appreciate it.
So, I recently started going to therapy. (The gal that I met at efnw this year will be pleased to hear, and also I am very sorry for kind of spilling all of my guts to you and I hope you didn't lose my card because I forgot your fimfiction name.) After my first session my therapist gave me a little homework assignment; to list 5 things I like about myself. 5 non-physical things. Sounds totally easy, right?
It's nice to know y'all still enjoy my Sympathy Series. I was kinda worried since I got so many dislikes right off the bat, and I'm not used to that. Iunno if I was just lucky back when I posted aPS and DD or if the fandom's just changed in the intrevening time, but I don't remember getting any downvotes for them until they'd been out for at least a week.
