By which, I mean that I'm out of buffer, and I don't have chapter 6 for CtW OR chapter 5 for TtS written... TtS is a full-on block right now, but I'm making SOME headway on CtW, so I'll likely break my pattern and update with chapter 6 next... Just as soon as I can coerce my muses into helping me...
I'll post again when it looks like I can resume regular updates...
So... The last few days, I've gotten a fair chunk written for both CtW and TtS... Syl helped extensively with TtS07, and Jim's been helping me a lot with CtW07. TtS07 is almost finished, I'm just missing the last scene. As for CtW07, it's probably around half-finished, but I've hit another block on it... This seems to be the trend when I'm able to get a lot done... Once I get a significant portion done, I run out of juice and can't even squeeze out another full sentence.
Argh...
and touch some grass
Ok, so as usual, we have a podcast this evening at 4PM PST (7PM EST). But tonight is a little special for me.
Tonight we have two guests, one whatmustido who wrote Diaries of a Madman, and two Bolding, who wrote everything good that has ever been written including the bible.
Who is great.
Who is a pretty lady.
Who is my child.
Be nice to my child.
I will cut you.
The other week, I took the train to visit my youngest sister, who graduated with a Masters Degree in Journalism (beats my mediocre little BFA in Media Arts and Animation, I'll give you that!). While on the train ride back to where I live, I did some more writing on The Expansive Romance of Applebloom and Coral Leaf, and as the day carried on, I got the idea for another little one-shot story, this time involving a Applebloom as a young filly.
So... I think I've finally broken through my stop on Chase the Wind... And I can't thank Sylvian enough for his invaluable assistance in this! Oddly enough, it only took a 15-minute brainstorm session Thursday night before both of us passed out to finally get me moving again...
And it’s time for a catchall blog!
We’ll start with work. Just last week, I diagnosed a bad PCM in a postal Jeep.
After several days, the new PCM arrived, and I got to use our new Chrysler-compatible scan tool to program it.
Hello, it is me, The Easter Bunny...
Ladies and gentlemen, Nights In Pink Velvet has a new cover, one custom made for me by the brilliant Chapaevv.
Behold!
Let's see...
Since I stopped drinking soda during the week and gone to the gym 2~3 times a week, I lost ten pounds in the past month. (I was 210 at the start of September, now I'm 195!)
I studied German every day last week.
I got all my weekend chores and whatnot done already, so now I have a lot of time for writing/drawing.
I've been getting better at saving my money and almost have my emergency fund saved up.
One, no Christmas story, if that wasn't obvious. I blame myself and.... mostly myself. And Mass Effect! With it's interesting characters and kind of not so good combat and the fact the only alien I can bang if the jailbait from the race of blue lizard-squid lesbians. I want my adorkable gypsy hypochondriac tech fetishist now, not later.
What was I talking about? Oh right, I'm supposed to be a writer. It's in your fucking name!
