I heard that Season 6 has started so I tried to look it up online. Luckily I did find the episodes without much difficulty and with the very little time I had. So I watched it and I have to admit it was better than I expected. Now I won't be able to write a full review of it till I get back to Canada, but I will say this... Shining Armor is gonna need a lot of advice for being a father.
So season 5 is over..... Great season
Anyone have there countdown ready for season 6?
I do!
Any of you think this sounds kind of...weird....
It's not at all what I expected.... A whole season centered around these two characters
Also Pinkie was listed as a villain
Bout time she murders somepony
Oh yea also my account is acting strange...
I hope this is not the last season, its obvious the writers are losing steam, ten episodes in this season and the last one is aj's day off. Probably will be as worthless as the season opening. I don't want the show to get canceled, I want the writers to start writing like they did in season four, and season two, and even season one. They all had a certain charm to them, which is gone now. Just like sponge bob, family guy and all those other great shows. My, how time changes things.
It's time for the first Cutie Mark Crusaders episode of the season! Now that they have their Cutie Marks, can the Crusaders save Equestria from a really lackluster season? Let's find out!
Before we begin: I have watched the season finale that was leaked early in the UK. I have written my review of it. I will not post that review until the Discovery Family airing in the US. All I will say for now is that I gave it a 10/10.
Now, let's get on with the episode there's been a lot of buzz about...
Season six has arrived!
Okay, so I'm not going to post any spoilers, but I'm going to give my opinion of the finale and where it ranks with all the other finales.
I tried, I honestly really tried to wait for the episodes release. Even with the slightly off audio and it not in HD I just couldn't wait.
Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
So, I went to a live stream of the episodes on YouTube, but the lag combined with my computer's bad performance means the footage I got was sub-par, at best. I might have to wait until I have a chance to re-record everything.
In the meantime, here are my thoughts, which I said I wouldn't do, but after what's happened, I kinda have to now.
Wacky Jacky is back! -y.
Continuing with recent trends in tackling more mature subject matter, this week's episode sees Starlight Glimmer suffering from holiday depression.
Remember how we thought Saddle Row & Rec was gonna be the Rashomon ep?
Well, here's the Rashomon ep.
(Before I get into this week's episode: I watched Legend of Everfree first thing this morning. I'm...not 100% sure what to think of it yet. It didn't really live up to my expectations. Full review to come later.)
I have ham waiting for me, so I'll be brief.
This. This is the one we've been waiting for since 2014, when the production staff let slip the first Twitter leak about an episode introducing Fluttershy's brother.
HEADS UP: Anyone who refers to Zephyr Breeze as "Zeph" is going to be summarily executed. Zef is...a little pissed at the nickname. (I don't blame him. Yikes.)
Despite the fact it's airing on a day when my time will be filled completely with a combination of Brony meet and travelling for Easter, I'm very happy that Friendship is Magic is returning to our screens with new episodes very shortly. The fandom has felt very quiet at times since Cutie Re-Mark aired just over a three & half months ago, and although we've had a slow trickle of the usual art, music and animations, and endless blind-reactions to watch of the previous season, I
With this episode, another character's series-long dreams and goals are realized, as Rainbow Dash finally becomes a Wonderbolt. Was it worth the wait? Let's find out.
But first, a quick note on last week's episode I forgot to mention: Trixie's show posters are kind of...really creepy.
So we have a Spike episode this week, and it comes with a moral about tolerance and acceptance.
Can Spike and this random Changeling drone wash away the stench of the last two episodes? Let's. Find. Out.
