I was sure I'd mentioned the Long Earth sequence in a blog at some point, but a quick search says nope.
Odd.

Part of the trap of being a well-followed writer is the belief that every story out of your pen has to be the next "Past Sins" or whatever, lest you disappoint the masses. If you approach the page every single time with the attitude that everything you produce must be brilliant, groundbreaking, hilarious, famous and perfect, I absolutely guarantee you that you will get nowhere at all, which is basically where I've been the past six months.
Hey so after he met Angie can you post which I think made me lose a few followers, I just gave a piano and organ performance for a few of my friends were coming down from mushrooms wow that was a light duty work it is nice to have filming restaurant if your first time like I was OK but I'm glad I didn't have more. Anyway I'm gonna make sure to write more my little honey fanfiction for you guys.
I've written the third chapter of The Day the Show Reset a few times, but I think I finally have an outline I'm comfortable with. In addition to the promised bacon, as well as the promised increased length, I can also promise that the chapter will contain at least a small amount of cheese. Stay tuned!
Hello everypony, hope your weekend is going well!
Anyway want to keep this short, will explain why below.
First, the good news: I got to check an item off my bucket list and see the My Little Pony: The Movie movie opening weekend! *cheers* For those of you who haven't seen it yet I won't spoil anything, but just say this: it was AWESOME! If you have the opportunity to see it in theaters, I highly recommend going to do so.
Me: I finally got around to doing the edits of Rest Well, Twilight.
Angry readers: Took you long enough! Haven't you been promising those for over a year now?
Me: Yeah I know! I'm sorry but I think that it has been worth the wait.
Angry readers: It better be...
Hello everypony! Sorry about the long wait in updates. This semester has just been killing me. Why I decided full time work AND full time school was a good idea, well I don't know. My schedule lately has pretty much been work-homework-sleep or school-homework-sleep, with a touch of time to socialize *cough* though it has all been online socializing... kind of hard to socialize with people in offline life when the only time you have to socialize is after 10pm... *cough* Anyway work
Courtesy of NigNogs, another character from my story has come to life. Now you can see Pike and Cut, together at last.
I'm back in my ponepaste so the recent update is right back where it belongs!
>Meanwhile, across town...
>You are Astral Blade, and the anticipation is killing you.
>This will be your first time seeing Pike since last night, and your mind is alight with questions.
>That goes for most of the unit too, you’d reckon.
>Everypony is just awkwardly shuffling around, waiting for their Sergeant to step in and hoof out assignments.
>You imagine they have the same questions you do, although no pony is voicing them.
Well, will you look at that?
This is roughly the final word count of the unedited draft. There are two minor, um, I'd guess you'd call them intermission scenes or something to work on. After that, I need to give it one more editing pass and deliver it to an editor whose waifu I kidnapped.
And while I still don't foresee finishing Homesick, at least for a long while, I wanted to share this. It perfectly encapsulates Adagio's state of mind in the first chapter.
However -
I won't leave y'all totally hanging (those noble few who remain following me).
>You, Anonymous, ended up going to the show alone.
>As fun as it would have been to go with Cut, you really wanted to keep this trip focused on business, not pleasure.
>Plus Cut was right, going without Pike felt wrong.
>So popping your Wonderbolts’ cherry turned out to unfortunately be a solo event.
>You certainly see why they’re so popular now, the show was thrilling.
>To your human mind, it struck you as an interesting blend of a trapeze act and a flight show.
>Now this is luxury.
>When you wanted to dry off back at the apartment you’d just use a towel.
>But here? They went crazy.
>Blueblood had a warm front physically imported from Cloudsdale, and stuck it in an aptly named ‘drying room’.
>Now all you and the other stallions have to do is stand around and let the air do all the work.
>It's like being in an airfryer!
>And it's good that it's here because standing is really all you’re capable of at the moment.
Finally, took me long enough! For those following the grentext version, you can read the new update starting here https://ponepaste.org/4295#1129
I got to say that after a long day at work, there is literally nothing that I want more than toplay a half hour of Xenoblade Chronicles ( not the "sequal" before doing HW and than bed.
