I won't lie, I'm a bit disappointed in what marks the CMC got in "Crusaders of the Lost Mark".

I know it's a silly thing to have wanted, but I was hoping for those G3 inspired marks that they got in early advertising.
Ironically, I don't think the reasoning behind their marks would have been any different. Those G3 marks looked like Cutie Marks in friendship (they are all hearts, after all).

So for a future chapter I've got a pony with a story telling cutie mark. I've been building up to this with great subtlety. You'll never guess who it is. I'm very pleased with that particular scene. Over all, I am pleased with that entire chapter.

There's just this one, itty bitty infinitesimal little detail that I might have overlooked.

I've been pushing through my writer's block and have consulted my pre-readers to do so. My intent to release the next chapter in November will likely be met, if barely. After that, however, updates should come much more fluidly. Chapters 8 and 9 are being worked on together, and Chapter 10 is partly written already. In all, we're looking at likely 12 chapters, plus a brief epilogue.

I suppose I should explain what I mean by "potential new members" considering I already did a Top Ten for colts and fillies, and ranked the CMC including Gabby and Babs. As I am now about two weeks away from graduation, I have started updating The Alicorn Cutie Mark. All chapters have been pulled for revision and I am hoping to have a new, revised chapter posted by June. New image added, which I feel suits the story better, especially for where I am thinking the story might go after the revision. Will possibly alter the description of what the story is about, but will figure that out when I get to posting the new chapter.

Haven't updated this one in quite a while because my opinions on the CMC hadn't changed since the end of Season 6, until now that is. There's actually something positive I can say about Season 8, and that's that it was able to change my opinions on some of the CMC for the better. As a quick note, I'm only including official CMC members from the show, so obviously Diamond Tiara and Pipsqueak don't count despite sharing episodes with the CMC.
