I noticed that when re-writing some old chapters, it doesnt tell you that they have been republished, so to tell you guys that the chapter has been reworked, there will be = signs at either side of the chapter name. This is just a quick way to say that that chapters been refurbished. Ones that dont have it from now on are old chapters due for a revamp!

More on topic, I just finished another scene in the next chapter of Desert Spice. I blame a combination of random inspiration striking, and FTL kicking by butt much more egregiously than usual (boarders on the first jump, or the first ship dodging four shots in a row while pouring missiles into my shields... It was more frustrating than usual.)

I think that there may be enough audio on 15.ai that I could actually do a scene from my story with voices as appropriate as I can get them (clearly not just any scene based on characters available.) I FINALLY got a chance to see "Ghostbusters: Afterlife", and it was pretty good! Not PERFECT, but then nothing not made by me ever could be!

This is how you do passing the torch RIGHT. Nobody got crapped on, and the newbs weren't elevated into these perfect people who could do no wrong. It really felt like a fusion of "Ghostbusters" and "The Monster Squad", which really worked well.

I was observing a member of the target demographic playing Minecraft the other day. Apparently she had recently learned of the bucket capability, which allows one to transport water (or lava) and dump it where desired. I saw that she had dug a hole, into which a villager had fallen, and was dumping water into it. I asked her:

"Are you trying to drown that guy?"

To which she replied, "Yeah," as if it were obvious.

I said, "Don't drown him, that's really mean."
