So I just watched another animation from a really cool 3D modeler. He works on Touhou related projects and he finally finished his newest video called Subterranean Stars. Marisa vs. Utsuho. Funnily enough he also almost included every single character that appeared in Subterranean Animism. You should all give him a chance. His account goes by the name MinusT.

It might not be mlp related but its still pretty cool.

Hopefully, it would have been worth the wait. I announced the series in February and here we are now a month and 16 days later!

It's not much, but I'm teaching myself how to animate (more) in Blender since I only know Autodesk Maya well enough to do much.

And guess what? Once my student license is up, I can't use Maya anymore without shelling out a heap of money that I don't have. So I figure I'd might as well learn some alternative software.

I do like Blender quite a bit, anyways. It's not quite as big as Maya as far as use in the production industry, but it's enough for my personal purposes.

It's still pretty jank compared to some other renders I've seen, but I've got a basic fire, some smoke, some water, and a reflective obstacle for the water all interacting with each other in the same scene.

This is totally not being done in preparation to whip up more cover art...
