Notes: This chapter underwent multiple rewrites and restructuring just to get it to a state I'm even remotely satisfied with. Looootta stuff went on the chopping block. Probably gonna have to trim some more fat before posting.

Tape Deck told me that he's not for everyone, but if you can appreciate a guy who, underneath all the randomness and geography (which Tape Deck seems to really like), is a pretty nice and respectful guy, RD's your man.

I’m the real Carrot Top.

It took ten years but I'm finally here at a nice, even 200 hundred followers. Although I've mostly moved on from writing fanfiction, as you could probably tell from my slow uploads the past few years, I'm still glad to say that I've been working on a few more projects in between my original stories. Getting my master's degree has cut into a lot of my writing time so I don't expect to publish any books for another few years, so it has been nice to have an audience on the side in the meantime.

The story that did so well is returning. I'm still not sure why it left but I found the story again. It's still the same story I haven't edited it at all. If you read it already it's been a while so why not read it again? Enjoy!

Yeah, this is a slow burn, especailly at the rate I'm posting them, but trust me. The pacing is on purpose. I don't want Spike to be just thrown at the monster instantly. For now, the added mystery around each disappearance is growing with this chapter as Spike has no idea how close he is to the truth.
