Struggling With Balancing Ideas Lately · 10:07pm Apr 25th, 2021
You ever get the feeling that you've got a dozen or so ideas floating around your head but you haven't the time to get any of it down?
I've been feeling like that for a while.

Salutations, writers, and welcome back! It’s Monday, it’s Being a Better Writer, and it’s our first topic from Topic List #23! Wow!
Well, folks... some time ago I mentioned that there was a project to produce a voice-acted version of the first few chapters of Rise of Firefly. The project is nearing completion, and the first teaser trailer has just been released:
He's put a hell of a lot of work in on this, so give him a like and drop a comment if you can.
So, yeah, crazy year so far. We got lots of cool stuff going on. Going to Vegas this June to HRPC as more than just a con-goer.
Oh, and we got an actual voice actor from the show! Like, what the holy freaking hell did we do to get this person?! I was as shocked as you all are. I mean, yeah it's no surprise that people from the community get actual people from the show to appear on their podcasts and videos once in a while. But, US? Really?
I give you all an audio reading of A Reasonable Solution by -Hidden Identity-.

I think I've generated my first troll. One downvote fewer than ten minutes after I uploaded the video. Of course, this is a play on "A Modest Proposal" by Jonathan Swift. Maybe someone's got a beef against political satire.
Hey everyone!
So, a few other authors have been doing a little question/answer thing in regards to writing via their blogs, so I figured I'd hop on board. Read elow if you want to learn more about me and my writing.
Let's do it!
Today was ok. Seniors now have pretty shirts for the school uniform. I couldn't stop crying this morning over stupid shit, so my teacher let me go for a walk during class. It was nice to go outside. Because I got ahead in AP Psych, I got to eat lunch with my friends. My thesis for my English paper got approved, so that's one less thing to worry about. I can't wait to go home and stew in my angst.
I figured I should probably keep you guys in the loop a bit seeing as I'm still pretty new back in the saddle.
I have about 1500 words of the finale done. It would've been more, but I had to move and I had a wedding this last weekend. I have a bit more time this week, so I anticipate on getting more done. How MUCH more done is still up in the air, but I hope to make a significant dent at the very least.
Oh boy. I just came from Moliminous' channel and I can't believe the stuff that he's saying got announced (is that right grammar?).
First of all, Season 6 of MLP will commence in May. Apparently.
Sorry to disappear for the past few weeks. My update is that work is a royal pain the flank right now, and I'm not finding much time or emotional energy to write at the moment. Work continues--slowly--on the climactic Firefly chapter for the Battle of Outpost Epsilon, and after that, as promised, I'll shift over to Unleash the Magic - Nightmare Night for a couple chapters. Work, unfortunately, is not likely to let up for at least several weeks, and after that, I'll be looking
Hey everypony, this is a few days old, but I was getting ready for HarmonyCon when it finally dropped, so in case y'all haven't seen... Have some news on The Magic Continues!
The Magic Continues - first 6 episodes announced!
Some users may remember that one story I wrote about Nightmare Moon. You know, the one with the melodrama. Well, I'm happy to announce that there is now a new dramatic reading of it by ObabScribbler! Find it over here.
So obviously, Hurricane Isaias didn't destroy me. In fact, it missed where I lived by several miles. Sadly, it managed to hurt some other people further up the coast, so helping out any of the victims or local charities would be much appreciated. I just hope
Sassbra is best Sombra
And Melanie Martinez is great I just found her cover of Can't Help Falling in Love With You and I'm in love??
I can imagine the outrage on the Internet if Jeff Bennett providing the voice of Raj in Camp Lazlo exists in today's time.
People would call him a racist for using an Indian accent for the character yet he's not of Indian descent.
Welcome back writers to another Monday installment of Being a Better Writer, your source for writing advice, guides, and tips.
