I submitted a new short story about Luna and Celestia (where they are adults instead of fillies, in case anyone was wondering. It is a Drama that takes place before Sombra, Discord, and Luna's banishment and loosely ties in with some of my filly Luna/Tia stories as well as existing in the same universe (duh).
Another bit for those who were wondering: There isn't any Royal Canterlot Voice.
Side note: Of Fever Dreams And Falling Stars is also complete at a final count of 16,464 words!
Hey everyone, from the title, yes! I have received 1,000 total views on a story - Odd Beginnings, the first ongoing story I'm writing. I can't thank you all enough for the people who sit down (or stand up or lay down) and read my story. It's a number I never thought that would occur in anything really. Especially to those who decide to keep it in their bookshelves - thank you for doing that, it means I'm doing well in my story writing. More special thanks to the people who pushed that
Firstly, a huge thank you to all 1,800 folks who've decided I'm worth paying attention to over the years. I know they aren't all still active, but it's still gratifying. Now, read on for some creepy-cool pony news. (And I think I beat Equestria Daily to the scoop!)
My calligraphy account has achieved another milestone. I am super grateful to be part of the calligraphy/lettering/art community in Instagram. I made a celebratory post (so sorry for messing up the zeros) as a way of saying thank you to them. Pinkie Pie, time to whip out your party cannon once again!
Happy New Year, lovely peeps!
(A month late, but whatever.)
Six months ago, I made a blog recapping everything I’ve done for the first half of 2023. And since the new year has come, it’s time for the recap of the latter half of the year.
My precious AU has a fangroup now! As awesome as that is I can't say too much right now because I've got a chapter to type. But thank you so much for this stuff that fuels my ego/flatters me. You should go join if you already haven't. Don't forget about my first group either, both links are on my front page box thing.
Um, wow.
Thanks to Mystic Flare for being my 300th follower!
Wow.
I was going to post something in anticipation of this, but I haven't had the time.
Anyway, there's going to be a few subtle changes. Nothing major. You'll know when you see it. Or not. Who knows?
Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
So I've noticed a lot that my milestone blogs tend to be real downers, so here's a nice change: my 500th Blog Post, and a happy one indeed!
Still Featured, thanks to "Can Ya Fix Her?". You guys are awesome!
Still watching "Steven Universe". Close to halfway through the first season. Thoughs:
- Alternate Beach City in Rose's room = Twilight Zone levels of weird shit.
- Steven's bug friend. Feels!
Several topics to cover in this blog. In no particular order, a reminder, a request, and a round of thanks.
IN WHICH I PRESENT A STORY
Or rather, a snippet of story. As I promised in RR:CXLIX, I'm using this milestone blogpost to post a piece of writing I created a little under two years ago and never published, as it is attached thematically to my unfinished Pinkamena fic.
Thanks to everybody who for one reason or another had decided I was worth following. Hope you've enjoyed it and that I will keep making stories that people like.
A milestone I'm very happy to reach, some three-plus years after its initial publication. In some ways, it's paradoxical--TLaTU is easily my most unpopular story in terms of like/dislike ratio, yet also my most commented-on one, not counting Turnabout Storm which wasn't originally mine. I daresay it's also my most ambitious and accomplished for bringing the impossible ship to life believably.
Well, it is official now. There are at least one-hundred people that, at some point, liked this story.
That is some kind of milestone, isn't it?
I guess I should thank everyone who stumbled across this story so hopefully, the people who left those likes are still around ^^.
The last likes came after the latest chapter and I didn't really expect to get 100 likes now and to be honest, I don't know if I should do something to celebrate it.
Well, after a lot of work and grief and general self-loathing, I've finally managed to bash this story into something readable. Barely readable. But at least I finally have a workable first draft. To make it actually worth reading, however, I'm going to need some help.
Anyone out there who has way too much free time and a highly critical eye is abjectly begged to cast that eye on my poor literary ramblings and help me attempt to make something entertaining out of it.
Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,
For those who don't know, I currently have 99 stories that I have posted. This alone is quite a milestone where the years of experimentation, testing other genres, and picking up both requests and co-authoring stories have come. More so is knowing how accepting and even surprising this audience really is, willing to accept stuff that I normally wouldn't think you would.
I woke up this morning to check my Instagram and found out this incredible news. I'm absolutely grateful to reach this milestone, so I uploaded a celebratory post for all of you to see. This would be a perfect moment for Pinkie Pie to whip out her party cannon and fire lots of confetti.
Thank to those who read my ever unpredictable stories. Ever bit of your positivity, each favorite, all the words read, means much to me. I never thought my sudden lurch and passionate fervor for pony words this year would launch me into a word count soon to surpass my also sluggish A03 form last year and this.
