I don't abuse my blogging privileges very often, but sometimes there's an author who I admire and who I think has managed something extraordinary. Today that author is JawJoe, who wrote one of my favorite dark fics on this site (Twilight Sparkle: Night Shift), and who today has published something to follow in its steps:
There are a fair few Ponyfeather Publishing titles in the pipeline—watch this space!—but the stars aligned and I'm very excited to announce that The Purloined Pony by Chris is now available for download.
At least I put up a good fight! She was okay, too, I suppose.

Oh god, this movie...
Back when I still lived in Tottori (the backwoods armpit of Japan) I made it a habit of borrowing a movie on the weekends. One weekend, I saw this movie.
Long time no update, I know!
I apologize greatly as I know many of you have been eager for updates for over a year now! But I appreciate your patience an understanding during a difficult time in life.
The good news? I will be updating the The Lost Prince regularly until it's caught up to the point we're at in it's RP version in the new year!
Spoilers are back!
The Cutie Mark Map is back! Twilight's passive meltdowns are back! Gilda is back!
A recent friend and fan of my writing has started quite an ambitious project on Youtube. A channel dedicated to developing a dub for The Lost Element.
This is actually quite flattering and not something I saw coming. Feel free to check it out and support their endeavors. I'm looking forward to whatever they come up with.
(Editor's note: Imploding Colon [aka previous featuree shortskirtsandexplosions] declined a refeature for Austraeoh, our top vote-getter.)
Some users may remember a story I did some years ago. "An Annual Occurrence" was a very light piece, as well as the only time I've ever really written a "holiday-themed" story.
Well, DT the Lost Water Spirit just did a dramatic reading of it. Find it over here.
Hello, everyone! Happened to stop by a burger king for a few minutes to write this post! I just bought some internet, enough for me to update my stories! More than likely, Twilight Daylight will have a new chapter and then everything else will follow! I hope you guys read the latest chapter to The Scoota Finale. It was really deep. Comment what you think!
I dare say I have absolutely lost my marbles.
I got my motivation for this story back. It was behind your mom this whole time, and it’s taken me months to walk around her. Not only that, it was also hiding under my self-loathing and crippling fear of imperfection. I know this story isn’t perfect, and that’s perfectly k.
This is something that I've had running around my head for the last month or so. It's not something overly complicated, but about half-way through writing down this synopsis, I realized this had more potential than as just a fan-fic story. Alter a few key facts, such as ponies being involved... and I may have something I could genuinely turn into a book to one day be published.
Gonna see if I can push out that next chapter tonight or tomorrow. No promises, but it is almost done.
This story is very close to me so I hope you all enjoy it. It was made by three of my closest friends and me. It's one of the many things I want to remember about the time we spent together and honestly I would love to share it with the world.
Gilda: Holy shit! Your teeth!
Pinkie: Oh, don't worry! It happens all the time! *closes her eyes and concentrates real hard, her teeth shards falling out and regrowing perfectly* See! Ta-da! Neat, huh?
Gilda: [soundless scream of horror]
Okay, so... calmed down, watched the ep again now that my head wasn't exploding for the last five minutes of it.
Overall, a great episode. Very strongly reminiscent of Magical Mystery Cure, and considering what happens it's an appropriate parallel. The numerous songs, the transformation at the end, the letter to Celestia. This felt like a season finale, in a good way, because it was grand and world-changing.
