Have the script of a scrapped comic of mine. There's a reason why it's scrapped; it's the first story I've ever written.

SC 1 - PONYVILLE TRAIN STATION

Are you really sure you can handle this applebuck season on your own?

Don't you worry none 'bout me, big brother! I've done it before and I'm gonna do it again!

3 BIG MACINTOSH
Just don't forget askin' your friends for help this time around.

Applejack appears slightly embarrassed.

4 APPLEJACK
I know, I know. I'll be gettin' to it right on my way back to the farm.

Apple Bloom looks up at Granny Smith.

5 APPLE BLOOM
Is Red Delicious gonna be okay?

Granny Smith stomps the floor with a hoof assuredly.

6 GRANNY SMITH
Darn tootin'! That silly goose barely needs a few days rest. But ripe apples don't wait, and you can't be late!

Granny Smith walks up to Big Macintosh and nudges him.

7 GRANNY SMITH
That's why Big Mac here's going over to help.

Everyone looks over at the Train Conductor as he announces the train's departure.

8 TRAIN CONDUCTOR
The train to Filly Delphia is about to leave. Aaall aboard who's comin' aboard!

9 APPLEJACK
I reckon we'll be seein' you at the end o' the season.

10 BIG MACINTOSH
Eeeyup.

Applejack, Apple Bloom and Granny Smith wave goodbye at Big Macintosh as the train leaves the station.

Applejack is strolling through Ponyville cheerfully, heading towards Sugarcube Corner.

Now, minus Twilight spendin' some time in Canterlot, I reckon there'll be five of us. Should be easy as apple pie!

Applejack glances up at Sugarcube Corner.

Heh, speakin' of pie...

Applejack enters Sugarcube Corner.

SC 3 - SUGARCUBE CORNER

Pinkie Pie is at a table, eating some cake. Derpy is eating a muffin at another table. Several other ponies are hanging out.

Pinkie Pie waves at Applejack.

Hey Applejack! Want some cake? I'm trying out this new recipe and I'm sure you're gonna love it!

Howdy, Pinkie. Uh... no thanks. I'm kind of in a hurry right now.

Applejack sits at Pinkie Pie's table.

Actually, I came here to see if'n ya'll were up for lendin' a hoof with applebuck season this week.

Ooh! Sounds like fun!

Pinkie Pie looks a little sad.

But I have to stay here and run Sugarcube Corner this week while Mr. and Mrs. Cake are on vacation.

Uh... run Sugarcube Corner?

Pinkie Pie returns to her cheerful self.

That's right!

Then, shouldn't you be makin' food instead of, y'know, eatin' all of it?

Pinkie Pie makes a serious face.

I've been making food. I mean, how could I eat all the food if there wasn't any food to be eaten? Food doesn't grow in trees, silly!

Pinkie Pie returns to her cheerful self.

Oh wait, it does! But that's only fruits. Cakes don't grow in trees. Well, except for fruit cakes, 'cause if think about it, the fruits in a fruit cake grow in trees, but you still have to make a cake with those fruits. And that's what I've been doing!

Pinkie Pie gestures to the half-eaten cake.

Applejack does not look convinced.

Uh... yeah...

Well, I better get goin'. These fruits ain't gonna pick themselves outta the trees.

Applejack leaves Sugarcube Corner.

S'not all that bad, four ponies is plenty to go 'round.

SC 4 - CAROUSEL BOUTIQUE

Applejack enters Carousel Boutique. Rarity is focused on her work.

Hey there, Rarity! Up for some applebuckin' this week?

Rarity keeps her eyes on her work. Her mane is slightly disheveled.

30 RARITY
Oh, Applejack. I'm very sorry, dear, but I simply must decline.

31 RARITY
As you can see, I've got a lot of work on my hooves, and I cannot allow myself to fall behind schedule.
(To herself, muttering)
More than I already am, that is...

32 APPLEJACK
I got'cha. I ain't gonna trouble you, then.

Applejack appears slightly nervous as she leaves Carousel Boutique.

33 APPLEJACK
I guess it'll only be three ponies. Still, not too shabby.

SC 5 - FLUTTERSHY'S COTTAGE

Applejack knocks on Fluttershy's door. After a moment, Fluttershy opens it.

34 FLUTTERSHY
Oh, hello, Applejack.

35 APPLEJACK
Howdy, Fluttershy. I was wonderin' if'n you could help with the harvest this week?

Fluttershy hides behind her mane, embarrassed.

36 FLUTTERSHY
Oh... um, I'm afraid I can't... you see, my little bunny Angel got sick and I must stay here and take care of him.

Applejack begins to look worried.

37 APPLEJACK
Uh, you sure you can't leave him for just an afternoon?

Fluttershy looks thoughtful.

38 FLUTTERSHY
Well, I suppose if it's just one afternoon...

Angel appears at the door. He lets out an exaggeratedly loud cough, startling both ponies, then crosses his arms and glares at Fluttershy.

39 FLUTTERSHY
Oh, I'm sorry, Applejack...

Applejack forces a smile.

40 APPLEJACK
Aw, no big whoop, sugarcube. I understand.

Applejack leaves Fluttershy's cottage, walking with a stressful look on her face.

This ain't lookin' good...

SC 6 - OUTSKIRTS OF PONYVILLE

Rainbow Dash is napping on a cloud.

42 APPLEJACK (OFFSCREEN)
Rainbow Dash!

Rainbow Dash wakes up, opening an eye.

Huh?

Rainbow Dash glances down at Applejack on the ground from her cloud.

44 RAINBOW DASH
Hey Applejack! What's up?

45 APPLEJACK
Rainbow, I really need your help!

Rainbow Dash flies down and lands in front of Applejack.

46 RAINBOW DASH
What's going on? Winona isn't stuck in a tree again, is she?

Applejack gives Rainbow Dash a desperate look.

Listen, I told Big Mac I was gonna get our friends to lend a hoof with Applebuck season again this year, but turns out everypony's busy, and I don't think I can go it alone in time!

Applejack joins her hooves together in a begging gesture.

Please tell me ya got a day to spare this week! I could really use your help!

Rainbow Dash looks surpried.

Whoa, chillax AJ. Don't worry, I'll help you out all week if that's what you need!

Applejack looks hopeful.

Rainbow Dash puffs out her chest proudly.

Of course! What wouldn't I do for my best pal?

Applejack looks relieved.

Oh, thank you, Rainbow! I sure owe ya one!

Rainbow Dash is visibly flattered.

Meh, it's no big deal, really.

Rainbow Dash takes off and gestures towards Sweet Apple Acres.

Now, come on! We've got apples to buck!

Applejack rears up and follows Rainbow Dash.

Yeehaw!

SC 7 - SWEET APPLE ACRES

Applejack gestures to a bushel.

56 APPLEJACK
Now Rainbow, accountin' there's just two of us, an' I don't think your legs are strong enough for kickin' all a' those trees, how 'bout you carry these bushels to the cart instead? That way, all I gotta do is--

57 RAINBOW DASH (OFFSCREEN)
Excuse me?!

58 RAINBOW DASH
I'm pretty sure I can do at least as good as you at bucking trees!

Applejack smirks at Rainbow Dash.

59 APPLEJACK
Don't get ahead o' yourself there, pony girl, these are strong apple trees we're talkin' about. Not soft lil' clouds.

Rainbow Dash looks surprised at the challenge, but suddenly gets in a confident position, ready to sprint.

60 RAINBOW DASH
Did you forget which pegasus you're talkin' to? Just watch and learn!

Rainbow Dash flies off towards a tree. She turns around in midair and bucks the tree with her hind legs, then bounces off of it and bucks to more trees the same way. She lands in front of Applejack and stands proudly as the bushels of the three trees are filled with falling apples.

Hah! What do you think of that?

62 APPLEJACK
Not bad!

63 RAINBOW DASH
See? I knew I could do it! Even better, I bet I can buck more trees than you will before sunset!

Applejack raises an eyebrow.

It ain't all 'bout speed, y'know.

What's wrong, Applejack? Afraid you can't keep up with me?

Applejack gives an amused smile.

Oh, you're on.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash spit on their hooves, then hoofbump.

SC 8 - THE ORCHARD

Applejack and Rainbow Dash stand side to side, readying themselves.

67 APPLEJACK
Whoever bucks the most trees before sundown, wins. Ready... set... go!

As soon as Applejack says "go", Rainbow Dash takes off at high speed, leaving Applejack behind, surprised.

68 RAINBOW DASH (OFFSCREEN)
One! Two!

Applejack snaps out of it, and bucks a tree.

69 APPLEJACK
One!

Rainbow Dash quickly flies from tree to tree, leaving rainbow trails behind her. Every time she hits a tree, she counts it aloud.

71 APPLEJACK (OFFSCREEN)
Two!

Five! Six! Heh, this is way too easy!

73 APPLEJACK (OFFSCREEN)

Applejack runs up to another tree.

Applejack bucks the tree.

Applejack smirks slyly.

SC 9 - THE ORCHARD (LATER)

The sun is about to set at Sweet Apple Acres.

One... hundred... ninety... eight...!

78 APPLEJACK (OFFSCREEN)
One hundred ninety six!

Rainbow Dash is completely exhausted.

79 APPLEJACK (OFFSCREEN)
One hundred ninety seven!

Rainbow Dash grunts and kicks the tree a few times to get the apples to fall.

80 RAINBOW DASH
One... ugh... hundred... ninety... nine...!

81 APPLEJACK (OFFSCREEN)
One hundred ninety eight!

Applejack is just slightly exhausted, still going at a steady pace. She kicks another tree at full strength.

82 APPLEJACK
One hundred ninety nine!

83 RAINBOW DASH (OFFSCREEN)
Two...

Applejack and Rainbow Dash are nearby, and buck their last tree at the same time.

84 RAINBOW DASH

85 APPLEJACK (SIMULTANEOUSLY)
Two hundred! Yeehaw!

Rainbow Dash collapses.

Ugh... I can't feel my my legs...

Applejack looks over at the sun, a hoof shielding her eyes.

Well, looks like the sun's a'settin'.

Applejack looks down at Rainbow Dash.

88 APPLEJACK
How 'bout we call it a tie?

Rainbow Dash, still on the ground, looks disappointed.

89 RAINBOW DASH
Yeah...

Applejack looks over at the orchard.

90 APPLEJACK
Hooie! We almost harvested half the north fields lickety split with this lil' contest! Don't know how I would'a done it without yer help, Rainbow. Think we should head back to the farm now, waddaya say?

Applejack waits for an answer, but as she doesn't get any, she turns to look at Rainbow Dash.

91 APPLEJACK
Uh, Rainbow?

Applejack sees that Rainbow Dash is asleep. She smiles sweet at her, and carries her on her back to the farm as the sun sets.

SC 10 - APPLEJACK'S ROOM

Rainbow Dash wakes up in Applejack's bed. She opens her eyes sleepily, and sits up, disoriented.

92 RAINBOW DASH
Huh...? Where am I?

Applejack appears by Rainbow Dash's side, offering her an apple.

93 APPLEJACK
Mornin' Rainbow, this here's my room. You passed out on the fields last night so I brought'cha here.

94 RAINBOW DASH
Oh, hey AJ.
(She takes the apple.)
Uh... thanks. You didn't have to.

Rainbow Dash munches on her apple while looking at Applejack.

Ya worked sturdy hard yesterday, so it's the least I could do! And don't you worry none if you're feelin' a mite too sore to help on the farm today, I know how it can be the first time 'round.

96 RAINBOW DASH
Hey, I said I was gonna help you buck those trees, and I'm gonna keep at it if it's the last thing I do!

Applejack hesitates.

97 APPLEJACK
Well, I never turn down a hard worker, but...

98 RAINBOW DASH
Besides, I don't even feel sore from yesterday!

To demonstrate, Rainbow Dash jumps off the bed. She winces in pain.

Ow, my legs!

Rainbow Dash smiles sheepishly at Applejack.

You know what? On second thought, I think I'll carry baskets around today.

Applejack chuckles.

SC 11 - APPLEJACK'S BARN

Nearing the end of applebuck season, all of the trees are void of apples. Applejack and Rainbow Dash enter the barn.

101 RAINBOW DASH
So, what's that you wanted to show me?

102 APPLEJACK
Well, I thought it was powerful kind o' ya t help me out of the farm as much as ya did, and I can't thank ya enough for savin' my rump, so...

Applejack gestures to a nearby barrel.

103 APPLEJACK
There's a lil' somethin' to make up for it.

Rainbow Dash looks at the barrel excitedly.

104 RAINBOW DASH
Is this really what I think it is?

105 APPLEJACK
You bet'cha! A whole keg of Apple family cider, just for you!

Rainbow Dash pounces onto Applejack and kisses her on the mouth. Applejack stares at her with wide eyes, very surprised. Rainbow Dash immediately draws back, putting a hoof on her own mouth, embarrassed. Applejack gives her a confused look.

106 RAINBOW DASH
Oh, gee! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to...

Applejack blushes, embarrassed.

107 APPLEJACK
Heh heh... Ah, uh... I reckon ya like it, then?

Rainbow Dash's ears flatten, she smiles weakly.

Yeah...

Rainbow Dash's eyes widen, and begins to panic.

The cider, I mean! I like the cider. Not...

Rainbow Dash begins to shy away.

I uh... maybe I should get going...

Applejack shakes her head, snaps out of her embarrassment.

Wait, whut? Before ya'll even get a drink? C'mon, Rainbow, I figured we could spend the evenin' together now that we're done harvestin'. Y'know, to celebrate an' all!

Really? You're... you're not mad at me for... uh, well...?

113 APPLEJACK
Nah, I ain't mad at you, Rainbow. T'was just an accident, wasn't it? And to be honest, I kinda felt like doin' the same thing back when ya said you were gonna help me all week. Heh...

Rainbow Dash smiles bashfully.

I mean, uh... yeah! It was totally an accident! Ha ha...

Applejack pats Rainbow Dash on the head.

Now, stop worryin' yer big head 'bout it. Ya've been workin' hard and I want'cha to have fun t'night.

Applejack begins filling two mugs of cider. Rainbow Dash stares hungrily, her tongue lolling out.

During the evening, Applejack and Rainbow Dash drink together and play a few matches of cornhole outside.

SC 12 - APPLEJACK'S BEDROOM

Applejack and Rainbow Dash are getting ready to sleep in Applejack's bed.

(Yawning.)
Maybe we should get some sleep, I'm pretty beat and I've got some weather stuff I gotta do tomorrow.

Applejack turns off the lights. She and Rainbow Dash fall asleep, each on their side of the bed. After a moment, a rustling noise disturbs Rainbow Dash.

(Mumbling in her sleep.)
No... too many... apples... can't harvest... all...!

Rainbow Dash moves closer to Applejack.

(Whispering)
Applejack...?

Rainbow Dash puts a hoof on Applejack's shoulder. Applejack rolls over, feeling for Rainbow Dash's body, then hugs her close.

125 APPLEJACK
Rain... bow...

Applejack seems to calm down. Rainbow Dash blushes deeply.

126 RAINBOW DASH
Uh...

Rainbow Dash slowly hugs Applejack back, smiling embarrassedly, then closes her eyes.

SC 13 - APPLEJACK'S BEDROOM (MORNING)

Black. From Applejack's point of view, she opens her eyes and sees Rainbow Dash's mane. It takes a moment to focus.

Hmm... so soft... an' so... warm...?

Applejack's eyes jolt open.

128 APPLEJACK
Wait... Rainbow?

Applejack slowly looks down at Rainbow Dash with a frightened expression. Rainbow Dash looks up at her with a smile, and their noses bump together.

Hey AJ!

Applejack instantly jumps out of bed.

Whoa!

Rainbow Dash looks surprised at Applejack's jumpiness. Applejack forces a smile, her cheeks reddening.

Uh, hey there, Rainbow! T'was sure a chilly night, don't'cha think?

Applejack laughs awkwardly. Rainbow Dash raises an eyebrow.

Uh... kinda, I guess?
(Eyeing Applejack.)
Are... you feeling good?

Applejack looks away, blushing furthermore.

Just dandy! How 'bout'cha, slept well?

Rainbow Dash looks at Applejack suspiciously.

I did... Are you sure you're all right? You look a bit weird.

(Nervously.)
Sure as apples are apples!

Yeah? Maybe you've had too much cider last night. Anyway, I've got some weather jobs I gotta take care of early today. Wanna hang out later?

Rainbow Dash walks up to the window.

All right, then. Thanks for the party and everything, it was awesome. I'll catch up with ya later!

Applejack waves at Rainbow Dash as she flies off the window. She then sighs in relief.

Applejack looks at herself in the mirror, confused.

Now, what in tarnation was that all 'bout?

SC 14 - APPLEJACK'S BARN

Applejack is resting against blocks of hay in the barn. She sighs.

(Thoughtful.)
I forgot how lonesome t'is without Rainbow 'roud here.
(Snapping out of it.)
Ah, uh, I mean, without anypony 'round here! Big Mac should be back any minute now! Why'd Rainbow Dash be here anyway?
(Thoughtful.)
Well, she has been workin' on the farm all week, so I s'pose that's why I miss her so much.
(Snapping out of it.)
Uh, I meant t' say, that's wy I miss her helpin' me so much! S'always easier than doin' the work all by myself, like normal.
(Thoughtful.)
But I gotta admit, she's one tough pony. Wish she'd stay at the farm more often.
(Snapping out of it.)
Uh, 'cause she can be mighty helpful sometimes! Yeah.
(Thoughtful, smiling.)
An' awful charmin' some other times.

Applejack chuckles to herself, then snaps out of it for good, wide-eyed.

Get ahold o' yourself, Applejack. That kiss didn't mean anythin'. T'was all just an accident. Nothin' to get all worked up 'bout.
(Raising an eyebrow.)
Mighty enjoyable for just an accident, if you ask me...

Applejack blushed deeply and facehoofs.

Augh, consarn it! Why'm I feelin' this way? This is Rainbow Dash I'm thinkin' about! She's a pegasus, for Pete's sake!
(Staring forward.)
Now, hold on a minute...
(Horrified.)

Rainbow Dash walks into the barn.

There you are! Hey Applejack! What'cha doin'?

(Startled.)
Whoa there, Nelly!
(Nervously.)
Oh, uh... howdy Rainbow! I'm uh... ah... hay buckin'! Yup! That's what I'm doin', so uh... I dunno if'n I'll be able to hang out today after all!

Applejack grabs a block of hay and attempts to lift it onto a stack of blocks, but the stack is too high.

146 RAINBOW DASH
It's fine, I've got nothing planned for the rest of the day, so... how about I help you around the farm again? I mean, it's pretty good working!

147 APPLEJACK
(Forcing.)
I... really appreciate the offer an' all, but I'm doin' just fine on my own!

Rainbow Dash looks at Applejack incredulously as she struggles to stack the hay block in vain.

148 RAINBOW DASH
Uh... you are?

Applejack keeps struggling, stretching as far as she can and pushing with her forehooves onto the block that is threatening to throw her off balance.

149 APPLEJACK
(Forcing.)
Applebuck season's over, so I... don't need no help no more. Now, since I'm a'real busy... ugh... maybe ya'll should just... hmmmph... be on your way!
(To the hay block.)
Hnnng! Git... up there!

Rainbow Dash flies over and helps Applejack, pushing the block in place with ease. She then looks at Applejack with a serious expression.

150 RAINBOW DASH
That's it. We need to talk.

Applejack stares at Rainbow Dash nervously and gulps.

SC 15 - APPLEJACK'S BEDROOM

(Uneasy.)
So uh... what'd ya wanna talk 'bout?

152 RAINBOW DASH
Applejack, are you sure you're all right?

153 APPLEJACK
(Visibly lying.)
I already told you, I'm fine!

Rainbow Dash looks concerned for Applejack.

(Softly.)
Look, you've been acting pretty weird since this morning. Come on, AJ, what's going on?

(Slightly irritated.)
I ain't got nothin' to tell you!

(Losing patience.)
Ugh. Just spit it out already! Are you hiding something from me?

(Angry.)

SC 16 - PONYVILLE

Rainbow Dash walks around Ponyville, her head low, a grumpy look on her face. She grumbles things to herself about Applejack.

Rainbow Dash?

Rainbow Dash lifts her head in surprise. Seeing Twilight, she attempts to hide her frustration.

Uh, hey Twilight. How was Canterlot? You're back early.

163 TWILIGHT SPARKLE
Oh, it was fine. But most importantly, what happened to you?

164 RAINBOW DASH
(Looking to the side angrily.)
Don't worry about me, worry about Applejack.

(Amused.)
Really, now? Can't I leave for one measly week without you two getting into a fight?

166 RAINBOW DASH
Hey, don't blame me! She's the one who's been acting weird lately!

(Thoughtful.)
Wait, isn't it applebuck season this time of year?
(Gasping.)
Oh no, I completely forgot! I hope Applejack wasn't on her own for the harvest again...

Nah, I spent all week helping her with her orchard and she was cool.
(Beaming.)
Pretty cool, actually.
(Frustrated again.)
But since we woke up today, she's been... well, uncool. I tried to figure out why, but she refuses to talk!

It's not like her to keep something from her friends, let alone you, Rainbow.
(Rubbing her chin.)
I can't imagine why she would, either.
(To Rainbow Dash.)
You said you've been together all week, while her behavior only changed this morning. Did anything unusual happen yesterday?

I don't think so. We had ourselves a lil' party at the end of the day, but that's about it.

Big Macintosh and Twilight Sparkle stare at Applejack and Rainbow Dash, wide-eyed and jaw-dropped, while Apple Bloom beams widely.

I feel the story has a lot of weak points, and I'm not really fond of the whole confession theme. In my headcannon, Applejack and Rainbow Dash would just look at each other, and make out. No need to talk for either of them; actions always speak louder than words.

And yes, that would be a lot of drawing for a story I'm not very proud of. My main goal was to make the most generic Appledash story possible while avoiding the bad tropes, such as "Rainbow Dash breaks her wings" or "Everyone hates fillyfoolers". I later wrote other stories which were much more interesting, albeit shorter, but I'd rather focus on those instead.

Awesome script I guess. Super interesting but I think when rainbow kissed her you kind of jumped into it to fast. Also the earth pony with a Pegasus thing as a bad thing was stretched and over used. Your idea was good and I think the pinkie thing was funny. Lol! so like yeah great story and first effort.
