This is a huge project - like "Living the Dream" by kickass222urmom big - that involves (human) musicians (who are bronies) bringing all the genres of music into Equestria. Of course, there's also a lot of suspense, action, and all that stuff that makes a story exciting.

Summary: My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic was a successful show for the time it aired, and was followed by many bronies and people alike -- until, for an unknown reason, Season 3 was cancelled, and was never continued. For a while, Bronies all over the world protested over the cancellation, but when nothing happened, they all gave up and soon forgot that the show even existed.

7 years later. A group of used-to-be bronies, who are part of the best bands of the decade, find a machine. The machine is somehow able to bring any item, as well as the people with it, to the pony-filled land of Equestria. The bronies, hesitant about the bad outcomes that may be made from such a risky move, still decide to do it. Their dreams are waiting.

Much has changed in Equestria over 7 years, including the invention of electricity and other items found on Earth today. But music has not taken any sort of evolution at all.

Armed with a connection to the biggest online music library on Earth, they have a goal: Bring all genres of music from Earth to Equestria.
