Since the recent episode have YonaBar as a cross species shipping, just maybe they'll go with Spike and Rarity at the end. Would it happen? Maybe or maybe not. Hopefully with an episode like this, maybe they'll take advantage of the cross species relationship angle and let Spike have a happy ending with Rarity.

Spike started with s1e1 when he first saw her, Rarity answer s9e26, fade to black.

I really hope so, I mean I really really really really REALLY hope so. I think the element of interspecies pairings shows a great message to kids about exploring diversity and making connections with people we never thought to before (creatures in this case).

Spike and Rarity getting some kind of confirmation would literally make me jump off my couch and shout for joy at the TV.
