Sigh To give a bit of context I've written four stories on this site so far now you might be thinking that is pretty good means im doing well right? No, no I'm not... I haven't updated in nearly a year and a half. Why? Because not only cant I find any inspiration to write anything. I've come to hate what I've written...

I just see flaws... so many damn flaws...Sigh I just don't know what to do. I don't know if I'm just being to hard on myself or if their just that bad. I don't know what to do anymore... its just pissing me off that I cant do something that I love without hating myself and what I write For example it can take me anywhere from 5 weeks all the way to an hour to write 3 paragraphs thats how much I hate what I write. What do I do?

Let's face this, nobody is going to write a perfect story.
Nobody.

Is it possible to write a decent story?
Yes.

If you want to improve as a writer, you have to write.
All of the books, tutorials and videos will mean nothing if you're not in the seat banging out words and sentences.

I wish I could give you a simple answer, but there's no simple answer.

I don't know if I'm just being to hard on myself or if their just that bad.

Yes, you have to give yourself enough space to write.

And yeah, you have rip your stuff to shreds when you're done.
Again, go over your work with narrowed and critical eyes when done.

Unless your writing kills kittens in their mother's wombs and the neighborhood cats are giving you stinkeye, you should just write.
Write without fear of failure.
