Every author knows the feeling. Write, edit, and post your story, and sit back as people begin reading. Feels great, right? Yeah, it does, until it’s been up for weeks on end and the only feedback you’ve gotten is the occasional like or dislike. Comments are something every author deserves for their effort, and that includes you!
HOW IT WORKS
- Put your story in the Awaiting Comments folder, as well as any other genre/tag folders that you see fit.
- You may keep it there until you’ve reached 5 comments. If you want more feedback, you may put it in the 5+ Comments folder. You can keep your story in that folder as long as you’d like.
- Feel free to make a self-promo thread as many times as you like. Please make an effort to not promote the same story more than twice a week, to avoid spamming the group.
- Please make an effort to leave constructive/meaningful comments on stories in the Awaiting Comments folder, as opposed to just a singular nitpick of one sentence.
- You may also create threads to promote artwork, or other fan content, assuming your intention is to gain feedback.
Please refrain from spamming self-promotions and general nastiness.
