Recently, i recall a comment concerning Potion Nova in that she was originally supposed to be an Alicorn, but was changed to a Unicorn at the last minute, explaining the odd number of times we see wings, and that one time she's just floating in the air (keep in mind, this is only a hypothesis, not an official explanation). When thinking about writing her into a G4 setting i wondered to myself, what if that was the backstory?. A Unicorn who was to ascend to something greater, but the process was interrupted, resulting in her with increased magical talent, but a feeling of incompleteness about herself, as though her own soul was only a piece of a larger whole. Thoughts on such an idea?
