I'm going to keep this short and simple. (I accidentally hit cancel while creating this group. I spent about an hour on this, so I'm kind of upset and don't want to redo the whole thing)
I've only come across a few stories with at least one poem, and as a poet, I am very disappointed. So, I came up with the idea to create a group that focuses on poetry, whether it be related to mlp or not. You are free to express yourself however you see fit. All poetry is welcome here!
Rules:
1. No bullying! You will be immediately banned from my group.
2. No hatred against Princess Luna. Luna is best princess. All hail Luna.(Just kidding
, you don't have to. But, definitely nothing against Priness Luna!
3. No roleplaying! I'd appreciate it if you followed knighty's rules.
4. I encourage all of you to have fun and express yourself however you wish!

So, about a month ago, I wrote a poem for a Creative Writing assignment. The question was "What if...?." At first, I had no idea what to write, but then I started thinking and it hit me! I couldn't come up with a better title than What If...? Well, here's the poem:
What if we didn’t hate?
What if we weren’t so broken?
What if we weren’t afraid?
What if we didn’t leave words unspoken?
What if we loved?
What if it’s okay to be broken?
What if it’s okay to fear?
What if we left words unspoken?
What if life is Hell?
What if Heaven is death?
What if the evil lives eternally on earth?
What if the good gets their last dying breath?
What if there is no difference between good and evil?
What if it was all just God’s test?
What if He can see what our hearts truly desire?
What if that allows us a peaceful, eternal rest?
What if everything wasn’t so complex?
What if all we saw was clear?
What if we were perfect like God?
What if He didn’t rule with fear?
What if we could just live in peace?
What if there was no such thing as war
What if the answer is…
What if it’s because we wouldn’t be human anymore?
What if we’re already perfect?
What if we could just accept that fact?
What if we stopped asking questions?
What if we stopped asking What if about this and that?
Well, let me know what y'all think. Also, sorry if it seems like I'm not caring at all. It's the opposite. I've just been distant and needed a break. As soon as I get my life on track, I'll do shoutouts for everyone. I hope you guys understand. Who knows, maybe I'll check out a few poems that you submitted into my folders! I hope you guys are doing well, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hey guys! I haven't written any poetry related to mlp, but I have written many over a couple years. I'mma share them sometime this week...hopefully. You guys can do your own thing, but here's an idea if you want to use it for yourself: We can put together a collection of our poetry in a story; a story has to be at least 1000 words, so it would be super easy to make a story with a collection of our works. That's what I'mma do with my collections. Also, if any of you like a certain poem or collection, feel free to give shout outs to authors/poets so others may read the collections and be drawn to the group. I'm not bragging, but I think this group is a huge step for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! If we spread word of this group, more will join, which also means more poetry, and poetry is AWESOME
Anyway, just thought I'd share this with everypony. I'm glad to see I have so many members in such a short amount of time! I'm guessing many members on Fimfiction.net are fans of poetry?

Oh, how such young royalty must wait
And arrive back so late
that a monster had formed
with her image deformed
and her sister had lost her
yet when the spell was broken free
she was still royalty
may young ponies learn
to yearn of her beautiful night
which can be of not a fright
but quite a beautiful sight
that all shall remember her
when twilight comes to steal
her night of her moon so bright.

Thanks so much! It took me a bit to get it finished(In the future there are going to be some changes because I didn't have a whole lot of time and I was under pressure, so when I'm free, this group will be improved. Although, I do like it as it is right now! Good night!
