Anyway, jokes aside from the other forum blog. So I’ve been thinking of some new story prompts that are up for grabs. The main focus of it is what the title says above. But here’s how it goes:

Say that in the MLP-verse, there’s also a holiday counterpart of Thanksgiving, with the obvious exception regarding the turkey (ponies are herbivores).

This can go in two ways for Spike and Gabby:

  1. Spike could invite Gabby over to the Castle of Friendship, or Canterlot Castle, and there they’d get together with Twilight and all the Mane Six for dinner.
  2. On the other hand, Spike could come and visit Gabby in Griffonstone and has dinner with her at her house. And there, he learns how his griffin friend (be it romance or not), spends the holiday. Hmmm, I wonder if this will introduce Spike to turkey meat? Do dragons still eat meat aside from the usual gems?
  3. Or Spike and Gabby, plus Rarity, can all work together to help bring foods to a homeless shelter. They might have another run in with that lazy, fake father of a dragon, Sludge, who is, once again, taking advantage of the generosity and hospitality for free foods and pampering.

Due Date: November 28, Thanksgiving Day 🦃

Anyway, just giving away a few ideas for future stories and creative writers like you and me. What do you think?

There is definitely so much potential for 'Spabby' plans to imagine for themes centered on this holiday. True, we hardly got one in MLP that is relatively close to 'Thanksgiving' but this is definitely where the fan writers come into play. Not only would this give Spike and Gabby the opportunity the chance to share a nice meal together, learn about tradition or just helping folks less fortunate than ourselves, but it would also strengthen this bond they've developed as far as why they are either solid friends or even more. But overall, Spabby fans are sure to have a fun time with this.

So it's been about a month now and there hasn't been any written work on any of these prompts. Oh well...

Well, everyone has been extraordinarily busy during that whole month. Getting ready for Thanksgiving, the mad rush on 'Black Friday' and gosh knows what else during the past four weeks. But just because they don't have stories planned for this month now, doesn't mean it's never going to happen.
