About that no crossover rule. So...Does that mean no crossovers PERIOD or just no crossovers with other franchises?

I'm not sure what you would crossover with MLP that isn't a different franchise. That's what I understand crossover to mean.

Going by the rules, stories with crossovers between different versions of MLP (i.e. crossing over G1 with G4 or G4 with Pony Life) would be okay, but crossing MLP with non-MLP franchises is a no-go.
